Setup and Installation

Pre-Installation Considerations

Installation Overview

The new Android system fully retains all functions of the original car system and is compatible with the original system control method. The installation replaces the original car's display unit.

Operating Instructions

User Interface (UI) and Dual System

The multimedia player operates on Android 14 and offers a dual-system functionality, allowing seamless switching between the Android system and the original car's OEM menu. This ensures all original car functions are retained.

Mobile Phone Connectivity (CarPlay & Android Auto)

The car entertainment system can be connected to your smartphone via wireless CarPlay (for iPhone) and Android Auto (for Android phones).

Split Screen Display

The device supports split-screen functionality, allowing you to run navigation software and entertainment software simultaneously for more convenient multitasking.

How to use split screen:

  1. Open the desired APP.
  2. Select another app that supports split screen.
  3. The split screen display will be completed.
  4. Swipe left and right to end the split screen.

Navigation (GPS/Beidou/GLONASS)

The system supports three main satellite navigation systems: GPS, Beidou, and GLONASS, offering high sensitivity for satellite reception. It comes with a built-in Google Maps app, and you can download other navigation applications like IGO, Navitel, and Waze from the Google Store.

Bluetooth 5.1

Equipped with a Bluetooth 8761 module, the system provides Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity. This optimizes the music frequency band during Bluetooth transmission, restores sound quality, and allows for stable calls, phone book synchronization, and Bluetooth music streaming, enabling hands-free operation for safer driving.

4G Connectivity & WiFi

The multimedia player supports LTE 4G SIM cards and WiFi connectivity. There is a 4G SIM card slot located on the back of the radio unit. You can access the internet to watch videos or listen to music online by inserting a SIM card.

Important Note: 4G networks cannot be used in North and South America, South Korea, and some European countries. Please check regional compatibility before relying on 4G functionality.

  • CarPlay/Android Auto Not Connecting: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and the multimedia player. Re-pair the devices and try connecting via the Car Link app.
  • 4G Not Working: Confirm you are not in a region where 4G networks are unsupported (North/South America, South Korea, some European countries). Ensure the SIM card is correctly inserted and active.
  • System Lag/Freezing: Try restarting the device. If issues persist, consider a factory reset (note: this will erase user data).

Warranty and Support

Warranty Period

The product comes with a 12-month free repair warranty starting from the date of receipt. This covers non-human damage. After 12 months, repair services will still be provided, but the cost of repairs will be charged.

Conditions that Void Warranty
