4. Setup Guide

4.1. App Download

Download the CamHipro app from your device's app store:

• For Android: Search "CamHipro" on Google Play.
• For iOS: Search "CamHipro" on the App Store.

4.2. Initial Camera Connection

1. Connect the camera to the power adapter and plug it into an electrical outlet.
2. Wait approximately 35 seconds for the camera to start up.
3. If the camera needs to be reset, long-press the "Reset" button for 10 seconds.

4.3. Adding Camera to App (Wireless Configuration)

1. Open the CamHipro app.
2. Click the "+" icon to add a new device.
3. Select "New device" if it's the first use or after a factory reset.
4. Scan the QR code located on the product label or packaging box.
5. If prompted, confirm that the power is on and proceed to the next step.
6. Choose your wireless router network SSID from the list (the camera supports 2.4G WiFi only, not 5G).
7. Enter the correct WiFi password. Ensure the password does not contain special symbols like `~!@#$%^&*()_+`.
8. The app will search for and connect to the camera.
9. Once connected, you can set a name for your camera (e.g., Living room, Bedroom, Doorway).

4.4. SIM Card and 4G Connectivity

The camera comes with a built-in free 100MB 4G SIM card for specific regions. If your region is not listed, 4G connections are not supported, but you can still use an RJ45 network cable connection.

If the initial 100MB 4G data is used up, you can recharge the SIM card or switch to an RJ45 network cable connection.

Note: The camera supports various 4G FDD-LTE, 4G TDD-LTE, 3G WCDMA/TD-SCDMA, and 2G(EDGE)/GSM bands. Refer to the 4G Standard table for detailed frequency bands.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Remote Monitoring

View your camera's real-time video and sound from anywhere using your mobile phone or computer. The CamHipro app supports multiple clients, allowing you to view multiple cameras or share access.

5.2. Two-Way Audio

The camera features a built-in microphone and speaker, enabling clear two-way voice intercom. You can listen to the environment and speak through the camera using the mobile app.

5.3. Night Vision

The camera provides exceptional night vision with infrared LEDs, allowing you to see clearly up to 30 meters even in complete darkness. The updated auto night vision feature automatically activates infrared light when ambient light is dim or a moving object is detected.

5.4. Digital Zoom

The camera supports digital zoom. Use the zoom in or zoom out icon within the app to magnify or reduce the video image for closer inspection of details.

5.5. Motion Detection Alarm

The camera features intelligent motion detection. When movement is detected in the configured areas, the camera will:

• Send instant push notifications to your mobile app.
• Record video and sound to the Micro SD card.
• Automatically send photo alerts via email.
• Automatically upload video and audio to an FTP server (if configured).

You can adjust the sensitivity of motion detection and define multiple detection regions within the app settings.

5.6. SD Card Recording

The camera supports continuous recording or scheduled recording to a Micro SD card (up to 128GB, depending on model). Ensure a Micro SD card is correctly installed for local storage.

• Continuous Recording: Records constantly.
• SD Card Plan Recording: Set specific recording time periods (e.g., all day, custom daily schedule).
• Alarm Recording: Records only when motion is detected.

5.7. Time Settings

In the app's camera settings, navigate to "Device time setting". You can synchronize the camera's time with your phone's time or manually set the time zone (e.g., GMT+8:00 Asia/Shanghai).

5.8. Change Password

For security, it is highly recommended to change the default password ("admin") immediately after setup. Access this option in the camera settings within the app.

• Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the camera's exterior. Do not use harsh chemicals or immerse the camera in water.
• Operating Conditions: The camera is designed for outdoor use with an IP66 waterproof rating. It operates effectively in temperatures ranging from -45°C to 60°C and humidity of 95% or less (non-condensing).
• Firmware Updates: Regularly check the app for any available firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
