7. Troubleshooting

Device does not turn on:
Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the device to a Type-C charger and allow it to charge for some time before attempting to power on again.
Inaccurate readings:
Ensure the measurement surface is clean and free of debris. Perform a calibration if necessary (refer to the 'REF CAL' function for relative zeroing). Ensure the device is stable during measurement.
Display is dim or flickering:
The battery might be low. Recharge the device. If the issue persists, contact support.
Laser not working:
Ensure the device is powered on and you have correctly cycled through the laser activation steps by pressing the 'OFF' button.

8. User Tips

  • For consistent results, always place the inclinometer on a stable and clean surface.
  • Utilize the magnetic base for hands-free measurements on metal objects, which can improve accuracy and convenience.
  • Remember to switch to relative measurement mode (REF) when you need to measure an angle relative to a specific non-horizontal surface.
  • The automatic screen flip feature is very useful; ensure you are holding the device firmly to avoid accidental movement during critical measurements.
