Setup

1. Charging the Battery

The CD player features a built-in 1500mAh rechargeable lithium battery. Before first use, or when the battery is low, charge the device fully.

  • Connect the provided USB charging cable to the Charging Port (14) on the CD player.
  • Connect the other end of the USB cable to a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  • The charging indicator will illuminate. A full charge takes approximately 4 hours.
  • Once fully charged, disconnect the charging cable.

2. Loading a CD

  • Slide the Open Switch (19) to open the CD Door (18).
  • Carefully place a CD, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3, or WMA disc onto the spindle with the label side facing up.
  • Gently press the center of the disc until it clicks into place.
  • Close the CD Door (18) firmly until it latches.

3. Connecting Headphones/Earbuds

For private listening, connect the included stereo earbuds or your preferred 3.5mm headphones to the Earphone Jack (15).

4. Connecting to External Speakers or Car AUX

To output audio to external speakers or a car's audio system, use the provided 3.5mm AUX Audio Cable.

  • Connect one end of the AUX cable to the AUX In Jack (17) on the CD player.
  • Connect the other end to the AUX input of your external speaker system or car stereo.
  • Ensure your external device is set to AUX input mode.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

  • To turn on the player, slide the Power Switch (13) to the "ON" position.
  • To turn off the player, slide the Power Switch (13) to the "OFF" position.

2. Basic Playback

  • After loading a CD and powering on, the player will automatically begin reading the disc.
  • Press the Play/Pause button (2) to start or pause playback.
  • Press the Next button (11) to skip to the next track. Press and hold to fast forward.
  • Press the Previous button (3) to skip to the beginning of the current track or to the previous track. Press and hold to rewind.
  • Press the Stop button (4) to stop playback.

3. Volume Control

  • Press Vol+ (12) to increase the volume.
  • Press Vol- (1) to decrease the volume.

4. Repeat Modes (Repeat Button 5)

Press the Repeat button (5) repeatedly to cycle through different repeat modes:

  • Repeat 1: Repeats the current track.
  • Repeat All: Repeats all tracks on the disc.
  • Random: Plays tracks in a random order.
  • Intro: Plays the first few seconds of each track.
  • Off: Disables repeat function.

5. Program Playback (PROG Button 6)

To program a specific playback order:

  • While playback is stopped, press the Program button (6).
  • Use the Next (11) and Previous (3) buttons to select the desired track.
  • Press Program (6) again to add the selected track to the program list.
  • Repeat to add more tracks.
  • Press Play/Pause (2) to start programmed playback.

6. Mode Button (7)

The Mode button (7) allows you to switch between different playback modes, such as normal play, repeat, or shuffle, depending on the disc type and current settings.

7. A-B Repeating (8)

This function is useful for learning or practicing specific audio sections:

  • During playback, press the A-B Repeating button (8) once to set the start point (A).
  • Press the A-B Repeating button (8) a second time to set the end point (B).
  • The player will continuously repeat the section between A and B.
  • Press the A-B Repeating button (8) a third time to cancel the A-B repeat function.

8. Playback Speed Adjustment (SPEED +/-, buttons 9 & 10)

Adjust the playback speed for learning or transcription purposes:

  • Press the Speed Up button (9) to increase playback speed.
  • Press the Slow Down button (10) to decrease playback speed.

9. Anti-Skip Protection

The CD player features an automatic Anti-Skip function to ensure uninterrupted playback, even during movement. This function is activated automatically when the player is turned on.

10. Memory Playing Function

The memory playing function allows the player to resume playback from the last played track when it is turned off and then back on.

11. USB Playback

The player supports audio playback from a USB drive:

  • Insert a USB drive into the USB Slot (16).
  • The player should automatically detect the USB drive and begin playing compatible audio files (MP3, WMA).
  • Use the standard playback controls (Play/Pause, Next, Previous, Volume) for USB audio.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning the Player: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior of the player. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Cleaning the Lens: If the player has trouble reading discs, use a specialized CD lens cleaning disc (not included) to clean the optical lens.
  • Disc Care: Handle CDs by their edges. Keep them clean and free of scratches. Store them in their cases when not in use.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the player regularly, even if not in use for extended periods. Store the player in a cool, dry place.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the CD player in a dry, dust-free environment.
