4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the T1 unit. Connect the USB charging cable to the charging port on the T1 unit and to a standard USB power adapter (not included). The indicator light will show charging status and turn off when fully charged.

4.2 Mounting to Helmet

  1. Choose a suitable location on the left side of your helmet.
  2. Attach the mounting bracket using either the clip-on method (slide between helmet shell and padding) or the adhesive method (clean surface, peel backing, press firmly).
  3. Slide the T1 intercom unit onto the mounted bracket until it clicks securely into place.
  4. Install the speakers inside the helmet's ear pockets. Ensure they are positioned directly over your ears for optimal sound.
  5. Attach the microphone to the helmet, positioning it close to your mouth for clear voice pickup.
  6. Route all cables neatly under the helmet padding to avoid interference and ensure comfort.

4.3 Bluetooth Pairing with Phone

  1. With the T1 unit powered off, press and hold the power button until the indicator light flashes red and blue, indicating pairing mode.
  2. On your mobile phone, enable Bluetooth and search for new devices.
  3. Select "TNICER T1" from the list of available devices.
  4. Once paired, the indicator light on the T1 will flash blue slowly.

4.4 Intercom Pairing (for 2-Way Communication)

To establish a 2-way intercom connection between two T1 units:

  1. Ensure both T1 units are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth devices.
  2. On Unit A, press and hold the intercom button until the indicator light flashes red and blue rapidly.
  3. On Unit B, press the intercom button once.
  4. Both units will search for each other. Once connected, the indicator lights will flash blue slowly, and you will hear a confirmation tone.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

  • Power On: Press and hold the power button for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light turns blue.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the power button for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light turns red and then off.

5.2 Volume Control

Use the dedicated volume buttons (usually '+' and '-') on the T1 unit to adjust the audio level.

5.3 Music Playback and Sharing

  • Play/Pause: Press the multi-function button once.
  • Next Track: Double-press the '+' button.
  • Previous Track: Double-press the '-' button.
  • Music Sharing: While playing music, press the music sharing button (if available, or a specific combination) to share audio with a paired intercom unit. The sharing range is 20-30 meters.

5.4 Phone Calls

  • Answer Call: The T1 supports automatic answering of incoming calls after a few rings.
  • End Call: Press the multi-function button once.
  • Reject Call: Press and hold the multi-function button for 2 seconds.
  • Voice Dialing/Assistant: Double-press the multi-function button to activate your phone's voice assistant (e.g., Siri, Google Assistant).

5.5 Intercom Function

  • Start Intercom: After pairing, a short press of the intercom button will initiate communication.
  • End Intercom: A short press of the intercom button will end the communication.
