4. Installation

Before installation, ensure the power supply is disconnected. Verify that the LED driver's specifications (input voltage, output voltage, and current) are compatible with your LED lighting fixture.

Wiring Instructions:

  1. Identify the AC input terminals on the LED driver. These are typically marked for AC200-240V input.
  2. Connect the AC power supply wires to the input terminals. Ensure correct polarity if indicated, though for AC input, it's generally not polarity-sensitive.
  3. Identify the DC output terminals. These are typically marked with '+' for the positive pole and '-' for the negative pole.
  4. Connect the LED lamp bead wires to the DC output terminals, ensuring correct polarity. The positive wire from the LED fixture connects to the '+' terminal, and the negative wire to the '-' terminal.
  5. Secure all connections to prevent accidental disconnections or short circuits.
  6. Mount the LED driver in a location that allows for adequate ventilation and is protected from moisture.

5. Operation

Once properly installed and wired, the LED driver operates automatically. Upon applying AC power, the driver will convert it to the specified constant DC current and voltage to power the connected LED lamp beads.

  • The driver features intelligent constant current output, ensuring stable illumination for your LEDs.
  • Built-in protection mechanisms (overvoltage, overload, overheat, short circuit) will automatically activate to safeguard the driver and connected LEDs in case of abnormal conditions.

6. Maintenance

The N-36 Series LED Driver is designed for long-term, maintenance-free operation. However, periodic checks can help ensure optimal performance and longevity:

  • Cleaning: Ensure the driver is free from dust and debris, which can impede heat dissipation. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning. Do not use liquids.
  • Connections: Periodically check all wiring connections to ensure they are secure and free from corrosion.
  • Environment: Verify that the operating environment remains within the recommended temperature and humidity ranges.
  • Inspection: Visually inspect the driver for any signs of physical damage, such as cracked casing or burnt components. If damage is found, discontinue use immediately and replace the unit.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your LED driver, refer to the following troubleshooting guide:

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
LEDs do not light upNo power to driver
Incorrect wiring
Faulty LED lamp beads
Driver protection activated
Check AC power supply

8. User Tips

  • Always match the driver's output voltage range to the forward voltage requirements of your LED array for optimal performance and longevity.
  • When replacing an existing driver, ensure the new driver's specifications (especially current and voltage range) closely match the original to avoid damaging your LEDs.
  • Consider using a multimeter to verify input and output voltages during installation, but remember the no-load output voltage is a virtual value.

9. Warranty and Support

This product typically comes with a 3-year warranty from the date of purchase. For warranty claims or technical support, please contact your retailer or the manufacturer with your purchase details. Ensure you have your model number (N-36) and proof of purchase available.
