1. Introduction
The Inrico T522A is a professional-grade 4G LTE Push-to-Talk (PoC) radio designed for reliable and efficient communication. Running on Android Go, it offers advanced features such as GPS positioning, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity. Its rugged and waterproof design (IP54 rated) ensures durability in various environments, making it suitable for a wide range of applications including shipping dispatch, traffic guidance, airport operations, and railway communications.

3. Device Overview
Familiarize yourself with the various parts and controls of your Inrico T522A radio.

4. Setup
4.1. Battery Installation
- Ensure the radio is powered off.
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the radio.
- Align the battery with the compartment and gently push it in until it clicks into place.
- Secure the battery cover if applicable.
4.2. SIM Card Installation
- Remove the battery as described above.
- Locate the SIM card slot (refer to Figure 5).
- Insert a standard SIM card into the slot with the gold contacts facing down and the notched corner aligned correctly.
- Reinstall the battery.

4.3. Charging the Battery
Before first use, fully charge the battery. The radio can be charged using the provided desktop charger and power cable.
- Connect the power cable to the adaptor, and then to the desktop charger.
- Plug the adaptor into a power outlet.
- Place the radio into the desktop charger, ensuring the charging contacts align. The indicator light on the charger will show the charging status.

4.4. Initial Power On
To power on the radio, rotate the Power/Volume knob clockwise until you hear a click and the device starts up. To power off, rotate the knob counter-clockwise until it clicks.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Basic Communication (Push-to-Talk - PTT)
- Ensure the radio is powered on and connected to the network.
- Select the desired communication channel using the Channel switch.
- To transmit, press and hold the PTT button (located on the side of the radio). Speak clearly into the microphone.
- Release the PTT button to listen for a response.
5.2. Volume Adjustment
Rotate the Power/Volume knob to adjust the speaker volume. Clockwise increases volume, counter-clockwise decreases volume.
5.3. Network Connectivity
The T522A supports 4G LTE and Wi-Fi for network communication. Ensure your SIM card has an active data plan or connect to a stable Wi-Fi network for optimal performance.
5.4. GPS Positioning
The integrated GPS and AGPS system provides accurate location tracking. This feature is crucial for dispatch systems and team coordination.

5.5. Bluetooth Connectivity
The radio supports Bluetooth 4.2 for connecting accessories such as headsets. Refer to the Android Go operating system settings for pairing instructions.
6. Maintenance
6.1. Cleaning
- Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the exterior of the radio.
- Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Ensure all ports are dry before use.
6.2. Battery Care
- Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
- Charge the battery in a well-ventilated area.
- If storing the radio for an extended period, charge the battery to about 50% and remove it from the device.
6.3. Storage
Store the radio in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
