6. Operating Modes
The device supports multiple operating modes to cater to different networking requirements:
- Repeater Mode (Wireless to Wireless): Extends the WiFi signal of your main router, effectively solving problems of weak signals and clearing WiFi dead spots.
- AP Mode (Access Point - Wired to Wireless): Connect the device to your wired network via an Ethernet cable, and it will create a new wireless network, acting as an access point.
- Router Mode: Functions as a regular router for home use, connecting to your modem via an Ethernet cable and broadcasting a WiFi signal.
- Bridge Mode (Wireless to Wired): Receives the wireless signal from your router and converts it into a wired connection for devices like desktops, laptops, or smart TVs that prefer a stable wired connection.

7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners.
- Placement: Place the device in a well-ventilated area to ensure proper heat dissipation. Avoid blocking the ventilation holes.
- Firmware Updates: Periodically check the manufacturer's website for firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Reset: If the device is not functioning correctly, you can perform a factory reset by pressing the RESET button for several seconds until the indicator lights change. Note that this will erase all custom settings.
8. Troubleshooting
- No Power: Ensure the power plug is securely inserted into a working electrical outlet.
- Cannot Connect to Repeater WiFi: Double-check the WiFi name (SSID) and password. Ensure the repeater is within range of your main router.
- Weak Signal After Setup: Try repositioning the repeater closer to your main router or adjusting the antennas for better signal reception. Ensure there are no major obstructions (thick walls, large metal objects) between the router and the repeater.
- Internet Access Issues: If using Router or Bridge mode, ensure the Ethernet cable is securely connected to both the repeater and the modem/device. Verify your main internet connection is working.
- Setup Page Not Accessible (192.168.10.1): Ensure your device is connected to the repeater's WiFi network (e.g., COMFAST_XXX) and not your main router's WiFi. Try clearing your browser's cache or using a different browser.
- Slow Speed: Ensure the repeater is placed optimally to receive a strong signal from the main router. Consider using the 5.8GHz band for higher speeds if your devices support it and are close to the repeater.
