Operating Instructions

1. Basic Channel Controls (MIC/LINE 1 & 2)

  • GAIN Knob: Adjusts the input signal level. Turn until the PEAK indicator lights only occasionally on the highest input transients for optimal signal-to-noise ratio.
  • EQUALIZER (HIGH, MID, LOW): These three-band knobs adjust the channel's high, mid, and low frequencies. Set to "0" for a flat response. Turn right to boost, left to attenuate.
  • AUX Knob: Controls the level of the auxiliary output channel for that specific input.
  • FX Knob: Adjusts the level of the built-in effects sent from this channel.
  • PAN Knob: Determines the position of the channel signal within the stereo image (left/right balance).

  • Fuse Replacement: If the fuse needs replacement, ensure it is of the same type and rating as specified. Disconnect the power cord before attempting to replace the fuse.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause & Solution
No sound output.
  • Check power connection and ensure the mixer is turned ON.
  • Verify all input and output cables are securely connected.
  • Ensure channel GAIN, VOLUME, and MAIN L/R faders are not set to minimum.
  • Check connected speakers/headphones for power and volume.
Microphone not working or low volume.
  • For Condenser Mics (XLR): Ensure +48V phantom power is ON.
  • For Dynamic Mics (XLR): Ensure +48V phantom power is OFF.
  • Adjust the channel GAIN knob.
  • If using 6.35mm input for a dynamic mic, volume may be inherently low.
  • Condenser mics will not work with 6.35mm input.
Bluetooth not connecting.
  • Ensure the mixer is in "BLUE" mode (Bluetooth symbol flashing).
  • Check that your mobile device's Bluetooth is enabled and searching.
  • Ensure you are within the 6-meter working range.
  • Try restarting both the mixer and your mobile device.
USB recording/playback issues.
  • Ensure the U-disk is formatted to FAT32. NTFS is not supported.
  • For recording, ensure the mixer is in "REC" mode.
  • For playback, ensure the 3/4 / USB TOGGLE KEY is pressed and the U-disk contains supported audio formats (MP3, WAV, WMA, FLAC).
Distorted sound.
  • Reduce channel GAIN or VOLUME if the PEAK indicator is constantly lit.
  • Check input levels from connected devices.
  • Ensure cables are not damaged or faulty.

User Tips

  • Always start with all volume knobs and faders at their minimum position before powering on to prevent sudden loud noises.
  • When adjusting GAIN, gradually increase it until the PEAK light flashes only occasionally, indicating an optimal signal level without clipping.
  • Experiment with the 99 DSP effects to find the best sound for your specific application. Remember to adjust both the channel FX knob and the main FX SEND knob.
  • For best Bluetooth performance, keep your paired device within line of sight of the mixer and minimize obstructions.
