Operating Instructions
Display Functions
The speedometer features a dual-dial design with an LCD display on the left and an analog-style RPM/fuel gauge on the right.
- Left Display: Shows digital speed (KM/H or MPH), TRIP (subtotal mileage), ODO (total mileage), and battery voltage.
- Right Display: Shows RPM (x1000 r/min), Neutral gear indicator (N), High Beam indicator, Fuel level (E-F), and Steering indicator lights.

Button Functions
The unit has a button (labeled 'CLR' or similar) typically located on the side or back, as well as directional arrows for turn signals.
- Short Press: Switches between ODO (total mileage) and TRIP (subtotal mileage).
- Long Press (on TRIP mode): Resets the TRIP mileage to zero.
Parameter Setting
To access the parameter setting interface:
- Turn off the motorcycle's ignition.
- Press and hold the button on the speedometer.
- While holding the button, turn on the ignition.
- Release the button when the setting interface appears on the display.
Within the setting interface, you can typically switch between metric (KM/H, KM) and imperial (MPH, miles) units for speed and mileage. Follow the on-screen prompts or short/long presses of the button to navigate and confirm selections.
Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your digital speedometer, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the display and casing. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the plastic or screen.
- Waterproofing: While the unit is rainproof, avoid direct high-pressure water jets, especially around the wiring connections, to prevent water ingress.
- Wiring Inspection: Periodically check all wiring connections for tightness and signs of wear or corrosion. Ensure all connections remain insulated.
- Storage: If the motorcycle is stored for an extended period, ensure the speedometer is clean and dry.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your speedometer, consider the following common troubleshooting steps:
- No Display/Power: Check the power connection (black wire) and ground connection (green wire). Ensure the motorcycle's battery has sufficient charge.
- Incorrect Speed/Mileage: Verify the speed sensor connection and ensure the unit is correctly calibrated for your wheel size (if applicable, refer to setting instructions).
- Indicator Lights Not Working: Check the specific wiring for the affected indicator (orange/gray for turn signals, blue for high beam, green white for neutral).
- Inaccurate Fuel Gauge: Ensure the yellow white wire is correctly connected to the fuel level sensor and the sensor itself is functioning.
- RPM Not Displaying: Check the blue white round head wire connection to the engine speed signal.
If problems persist after checking these points, it is recommended to consult a professional motorcycle technician.
