1. Setup
1.1 Before Installation
Thank you for purchasing and using our products. When you receive the product, please do not take it directly to the car for installation, as the product may be affected after a long journey. Please test the machine before installing it fully.
Test Method: Take the machine to the car battery and test it. This car stereo applies to a power supply voltage of 12V DC. Connect the red and yellow wires of the power cord together and connect them to the positive pole of the battery. Connect the black wire of the power cord to the negative pole of the battery. Wait for 10 seconds after connecting, then press each button on the machine to see if it boots normally. If it turns on, there is no problem, and you can proceed with installation. If the test machine does not start normally, please re-confirm that you have followed these steps strictly. If the problem persists, please contact support.
Important Note: When the yellow line (B+) and the red line (ACC) have a 12V positive power at the same time, the unit can be turned on normally. The yellow line (B+) keeps the power on and provides memory function. There are 8 speaker cables; each cable must not be grounded, shared, or touch other lines, otherwise, there will be no sound output, distorted sound, or machine overheating.
1.2 Installation Steps

3. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your BQCC F6021w car MP5 player, follow these general maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the screen and exterior. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.
- Temperature: Operate the unit within the specified working temperature range (-10~60℃). Extreme temperatures can affect performance and lifespan.
- Connections: Periodically check all wiring connections to ensure they are secure and free from corrosion. Loose connections can lead to intermittent issues or damage.
- Software Updates: Keep the unit's software updated as recommended by the manufacturer to ensure compatibility and access to the latest features and bug fixes.
4. Troubleshooting
4.1 Cannot Boot Normally
- Wiring Check: Ensure the yellow (B+), red (ACC), and black (GND) wires are correctly connected. Yellow and red should be connected to positive 12V (yellow to constant, red to ignition switch), and black to negative ground. Incorrect or incomplete connections will prevent booting.
- Fuse Check: If the unit does not boot despite correct wiring, check if the fuse on the yellow line is broken. If the fuse is fine, try twisting the yellow and red wires together, then turn on the key and press the power button.
- Short Circuit Protection: If the fuse repeatedly burns out, it indicates a short circuit in the unit's protection circuit. This requires professional after-sales service.
4.2 Automatic Shut-down
- Blue Cable Error: If the blue cable (automatic antenna power supply) is connected to the unit's power cable, it may cause automatic shutdown. Ensure correct wiring.
- Unstable Voltage: Test the unit with a stable 12V-5A power supply. If it still shuts down automatically, the unit may be faulty.
4.3 Noise Issues
- Speaker Power: If the original speaker power is too low, increasing the unit's volume may cause noise. Avoid setting the volume too high.
- Grounded Speaker Cable: If a speaker cable is grounded, connect the iron speaker cable directly to the unit's speaker cable.
4.4 Remote Control Cannot Be Used
Test the remote control by pointing it at your mobile phone camera and pressing a button. If the phone camera shows a light, the remote control is working. If not, replace the battery.
4.5 Settings Cannot Be Saved (No Memory)
- Ensure the yellow (B+) and red (ACC) wires are connected correctly (yellow to constant positive, red to ignition switch).
- If yellow and red wires are reversed, simply swap their positions.
4.6 Bluetooth Not Working
Turn on the machine, search for its Bluetooth name using your mobile phone, and click Connect. After connecting, you should be able to answer calls or play songs via Bluetooth.
4.7 Product Emits Smoke
Replace the FUSE. If the problem persists, the internal circuit may be burned, requiring after-sales service.
4.8 Sound Cannot Be Adjusted
- Reset the unit or unplug and re-plug the power cord.
- If the volume knob is broken, it may need replacement.
4.9 Reversing Camera Does Not Display
- Wiring Check: Ensure the reversing camera is correctly wired and connected.
- Camera Fault: If the camera is properly wired but still doesn't display, the camera itself might be faulty and require replacement.
4.10 USB Devices Cannot Be Played
Format the USB flash drive to FAT32. Re-download one or two songs and try again. If it still doesn't work, replace the USB flash drive.
4.11 FM Does Not Receive Radio Stations
- Ensure the antenna plug is fully inserted and the antenna line is not disconnected.
- Perform an automatic station search (AMS/APS) or manually search using the 'before' or 'after' buttons.
- If the above steps don't work, unplug the antenna plug and try inserting a screwdriver or a metal strip into the antenna port to test reception.
4.12 No Sound Right After Installation
If there is no sound immediately after installation, it is usually due to a wiring error or a short-circuited original car speaker wire. Check the speaker cables for short circuits and reconnect if necessary. Ensure the number of speaker cables matches your car's original wiring (e.g., 2 speakers need 4 cables).
4.13 No Sound After A While
Disconnect all speaker cables from the unit. Connect an external speaker to the gray and purple tail lines of the unit. If there is sound, it indicates a short circuit or damage in the car's speaker line. If there is no sound, the unit is faulty.

7. User Tips
- Power On Issues: If the car radio doesn't turn on, double-check that the red and yellow wires are connected to the positive 12V supply (red to ignition, yellow to constant), and the black wire to negative ground. Also, inspect the fuse. Always use the provided power cords.
- "No Signal" on Reverse: Ensure the reversing camera's video line is securely connected to the "CAMIN" port on the car radio.
- Video Playback Warning: If you see a "!" or "Can not watch video while driving" message when playing videos via USB, navigate to the settings and turn off the "Warning" function.
- FM Radio Search: For better FM reception, ensure the radio antenna is fully inserted and properly connected. If issues persist, try inserting a metal strip or screwdriver into the antenna port to test for signal.
