2. Installation Steps

Follow these steps for self-installation. Visual diagrams for each step are available in the provided product images (specifically, the long image Af7416d1f4de1430e9cc6279cdc58f04fT.jpg under the "설치 방법" section).

  1. Remove Existing Toilet Seat: Close the water supply valve to the toilet. Flush the toilet to empty the tank. Disconnect the existing water supply hose from the toilet tank. Remove the nuts and bolts securing your current toilet seat and lid, then remove the seat.
  2. Install Mounting Plate: Place the bidet's mounting plate over the bolt holes on the toilet bowl. Insert the mounting bolts through the plate and the toilet bowl holes. Secure them loosely with washers and nuts from underneath. Adjust the plate position as needed.
  3. Connect T-Valve: Install the T-valve (water diverter) to the toilet's water supply line, typically between the water supply valve and the toilet tank's fill valve. Ensure a tight, leak-free connection.
  4. Connect Water Supply Hose: Connect one end of the provided water supply hose to the T-valve and the other end to the water inlet on the side of the bidet unit. Hand-tighten, then use the wrench for a final snug fit, being careful not to overtighten.
  5. Mount Bidet Unit: Slide the bidet main unit onto the installed mounting plate until it clicks securely into place. Adjust the mounting plate if necessary to ensure a proper fit.
  6. Restore Water Supply and Check for Leaks: Slowly open the toilet's water supply valve. Check all connections for any leaks. If leaks occur, tighten the connections slightly.
  7. Plug in Power: Plug the bidet's power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and hygiene of your bidet.

Cleaning the Main Unit

  • Unplug the bidet before cleaning.
  • Wipe the exterior of the bidet with a soft, damp cloth.
  • For stubborn stains, use a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, or abrasive scrubbers, as these can damage the surface.
  • Ensure no water enters the control panel or electrical components.

Nozzle Cleaning

  • The bidet features automatic nozzle cleaning before and after each use.
  • For manual cleaning, press the "Nozzle Cleaning" button on the control panel. The nozzle will extend for cleaning. Gently wipe the nozzle with a soft brush or cloth. Do not force the nozzle.
  • The Inus In-310T+ is a filter-free model, eliminating the need for filter replacement.

Winterization (Freezing Prevention)

If the bidet is installed in an unheated area where temperatures may drop below freezing, it is essential to drain the water to prevent damage:

  1. Unplug the bidet from the power outlet.
  2. Close the water supply valve to the toilet.
  3. Disconnect the water supply hose from the bidet and the T-valve.
  4. Drain any remaining water from the bidet unit and hoses.
  5. Store the bidet in a warm place if possible, or ensure all water is thoroughly removed from internal components.
