2. Setup and Installation
- Power Off Robot Vacuum: Ensure your Cecotec Conga 5290 Ultra T robot vacuum cleaner is powered off and disconnected from its charging base before installation.
- Remove Existing Module: Locate the existing dust box or water tank module on your robot vacuum. Typically, this is accessed from the top or rear of the device. Press any release buttons or latches and carefully remove the old module.
- Prepare the New Module:
- For Dust Collection: Ensure the filter is properly seated within the dust box compartment.
- For Mopping: Open the water tank cap, fill the tank with clean water (distilled water is recommended to prevent mineral buildup), and securely close the cap. Do not overfill.
- Install New Module: Align the two-in-one water tank and dust box with the corresponding slot on your robot vacuum. Gently push it into place until you hear a click, indicating it is securely latched.
- Power On: Power on your robot vacuum. The device should recognize the new module.

3. Operating Instructions
This two-in-one module allows your robot vacuum to perform both dry vacuuming and wet mopping. The robot's internal software will manage the functions based on the selected cleaning mode.
- Dust Collection: When the robot is in vacuuming mode, the dust compartment will collect debris as usual. The integrated filter helps trap fine particles.
- Water Dispensing (Mopping): When the robot is in mopping mode, water from the tank will be dispensed onto the mopping pad (if installed on the robot, sold separately) to facilitate wet cleaning. Ensure the water tank is filled for mopping operations.
4. Maintenance
Regular maintenance of the water tank and dust box is crucial for optimal performance and longevity of your robot vacuum.
4.1. Emptying the Dust Box
- Power off the robot vacuum.
- Remove the two-in-one module from the robot.
- Locate the dust compartment release latch and open it.
- Empty the collected dust and debris into a waste bin.
- Close the dust compartment securely.
4.2. Cleaning the Filter
The filter should be cleaned regularly (e.g., after every 1-3 uses, depending on usage) and replaced periodically (e.g., every 3-6 months).
- After emptying the dust box, carefully remove the filter.
- Tap the filter gently over a waste bin to dislodge dust. You may use a small brush or a vacuum cleaner on a low setting to clean it.
- Do NOT wash the filter with water unless explicitly stated by the main robot vacuum manual, as this can damage it.
- Reinsert the clean filter into the dust box.
