Setup and Connection

This controller connects wirelessly via Bluetooth to your Nintendo Switch console.

Pairing with Nintendo Switch:

  1. From the HOME Menu, select 'Controllers' > 'Change Grip/Order'.
  2. While the screen shows 'Press L + R on the controller', press and hold the SYNC Button on the top of the Pro Controller for at least one second.
  3. The player LED(s) on the bottom of the controller will light up and remain lit once the controller is paired.
  4. Once paired, the controller will automatically connect to your console when powered on and within range.

Operating Instructions

LED Lighting Modes:

The controller features 7 LED colors (red, yellow, blue, green, purple, orange, pink) that change in order. There are 4 lighting modes:

  • Breathing Light Mode: Colors cycle smoothly.
  • Quick Flash Mode: Colors flash rapidly.
  • Vibration Lighting Mode: Lights activate with controller vibration.
  • Always-On Mode: A single color remains constantly lit.

Turbo Function:

The Turbo function allows for continuous input of a button press. To activate and manage the Turbo function:

  1. Manual TURBO Function: Press and hold the 'T' Button + one of the Function Buttons (A/B/X/Y/L/R/ZL/ZR/D-pad Button). The button will continuously launch as long as you hold it.
  2. Automatic TURBO Function: After activating Manual Turbo, press the 'T' Button + the same Function Button again. The button will automatically launch continuously without needing to be held.
  3. Clear TURBO Function: To deactivate Turbo for a specific button, press the 'T' Button + the Function Button a third time. To clear all Turbo settings, press and hold the 'T' button for 5 seconds.

Mapping Control (Back Paddle Buttons):

The back paddle buttons (MR and ML) can be programmed to mimic other buttons for enhanced control.

  1. Press and hold the 'MR' Button.
  2. While holding 'MR', input the single button (A/B/X/Y/L/R/ZL/ZR/+/-/D-pad Button and L/R joysticks) you want to map.
  3. Release the 'MR' Button. The controller will vibrate to indicate successful mapping.
  4. Press the 'XR' Button to trigger the programmed function.
  5. The mapping function can also be achieved using the 'ML' Button in the same manner.

Vibration Function:

The controller provides immersive vibration feedback. The intensity of the vibration can be adjusted. The image indicates vibration levels from 0% to 100% in increments of 25%.

Motion Control:

The controller is equipped with precise motion control capabilities, allowing for intuitive gameplay in compatible titles.

Maintenance

Battery Charging:

The controller has a built-in 950mAh rechargeable Lithium battery. To charge, connect the controller to a power source using a compatible USB-C cable. A full charge provides approximately 12.5 hours of playtime (with LED lights off).

Cleaning and Storage:

  • Wipe the controller with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Store the controller in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Avoid dropping the controller or exposing it to excessive force.

Troubleshooting

Controller does not connect to Nintendo Switch.
Ensure the controller is charged. Follow the pairing instructions carefully. If issues persist, try restarting your Nintendo Switch console and then re-attempt pairing.
LED lights are not working or changing colors.
Check the battery level. Ensure you are cycling through the lighting modes correctly. The controller's hidden-til-lit display only activates when the LED is on.
Turbo function is not working as expected.
Review the Turbo Function instructions. Ensure you are pressing the 'T' button in combination with the correct function button for manual or automatic turbo. Try clearing all Turbo settings and re-programming.
Back paddle buttons are not mapping correctly.
Follow the Mapping Control instructions precisely. Ensure the controller vibrates after releasing the 'MR' or 'ML' button, indicating successful mapping. Only one button can be mapped per paddle at a time.
Is the controller compatible with Nintendo Switch 2?
The controller is officially compatible with Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch OLED, and Nintendo Switch Lite. Compatibility with future console models like Nintendo Switch 2 cannot be guaranteed without official confirmation.
Does the controller have NFC?
This model does not feature NFC functionality.
Is the controller compatible with PC or iPad?
This controller is designed specifically for Nintendo Switch consoles and is not officially supported for PC or iPad use.
