8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your X85PRO keyboard, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Keyboard not responding:
    • Ensure the keyboard is charged.
    • Check the connection mode switch (Wired, 2.4G, Bluetooth) and ensure it matches your connection method.
    • For 2.4G wireless, ensure the USB dongle is securely plugged in.
    • For Bluetooth, ensure the keyboard is paired correctly and your device's Bluetooth is enabled. Try re-pairing if necessary.
    • In wired mode, try a different USB-C cable or USB port.
  • Keys not registering or double-typing:
    • This could indicate a faulty switch. Use the key puller to remove the problematic switch and replace it with a new one.
    • Clean any debris under the keycap or around the switch.
  • RGB lighting not working or incorrect:
    • Ensure the keyboard is sufficiently charged.
    • Use the 'Fn + |' combination to cycle through lighting modes.
    • Check the dedicated software for lighting settings and ensure they are configured as desired.
  • TFT display not showing information:
    • Ensure the keyboard is powered on and connected.
    • Try rotating or pressing the knob to wake the display or navigate menus.
    • If using custom GIFs, ensure they are correctly uploaded via the software.
