Product Overview
The FOXSUR FPT-250 features a robust aluminum alloy shell for durability and efficient heat dissipation. Its large digital display provides real-time information on charging status, voltage, current, and temperature. The charger includes multiple charging modes and current options to suit various battery types and conditions.

Setup
Follow these steps to set up your battery charger:
- Plug into Power Source: Connect the charger's power cord to a suitable 100-240V AC, 50-60Hz electrical outlet.

Figure 4: Connect the charger to a wall outlet. - Connect to Battery: Connect the red (+) charging clip to the positive (+) terminal of the battery and the black (-) charging clip to the negative (-) terminal of the battery. Ensure a secure connection.

Figure 5: Attach the red clip to the positive terminal and the black clip to the negative terminal of the battery.
Operating Instructions
The charger automatically detects the battery voltage (12V or 24V) and adjusts the charging process. It also features automatic temperature detection to optimize charging voltage based on ambient temperature (Winter mode below 10°C, Summer mode above 28°C).

Charging Process (8-Stage)
The charger utilizes an advanced 8-stage charging process for optimal battery care:

- Battery Desulphation: Removes sulfate from battery plates.
- Soft Start Charge: Gentle initial charge to protect the battery.
- Bulk Charge: Charges the battery to approximately 80% capacity.
- Absorption Charge: Charges the battery to 100% capacity at a decreasing current.
- Battery Test: Checks battery condition.
- Recondition Charge: Restores deeply discharged or sulfated batteries.
- Float & Maintenance Charging: Maintains battery at full charge.
- Re-start Charge: Initiates a new charging cycle if the battery voltage drops.
Selecting Charging Mode and Current
Press the "MODE" button to cycle through available battery types and functions. Press the "CURRENT" button to select the desired charging current.

Available modes and currents:
- Currents: 2A, 8A, Automatic, 20A, 25A
- Modes: CAR/BOAT, AGM, LiFePO4, REPAIR, BOOSTER
Once the appropriate mode and current are selected, the charger will automatically begin charging.
Booster Mode (12V Batteries Only)
The "Booster" mode is specifically designed for 12V batteries to provide a quick burst of high current to assist in starting a vehicle with a low battery.

When "Booster" mode is selected (for 12V batteries only), the charging current will reach its maximum value for 200 seconds. After 200 seconds, the display screen will show "on", indicating that you can now attempt to start your car.
Pulse Reconditioning / Battery Maintenance
This feature helps to address issues like battery sulfation, inability to charge, or high internal resistance, extending battery life and improving performance.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Disconnect the charger from the power source and battery before cleaning. Wipe the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners.
- Storage: Store the charger in a cool, dry place when not in use. Utilize the winding cable design on the back for convenient storage of the power cord and clips.
- Cable Inspection: Regularly inspect the power cord and charging clips for any signs of damage. Replace if necessary.
- Cooling Fan: Ensure the cooling fan vents are clear of obstructions for optimal heat dissipation. The pure copper motor and fan system are designed for quiet and comfortable long-term charging.

Troubleshooting
- Charger not turning on:
- Check if the power cord is securely plugged into the outlet and the charger.
- Ensure the outlet is functional.
- Charger not detecting battery:
- Verify that the charging clips are correctly and securely connected to the battery terminals (red to positive, black to negative).
- Ensure the battery voltage is within the charger's operating range (12V or 24V) and not severely discharged below 5.0V.
- Charging process is slow:
- Check the selected charging current. A lower current will result in slower charging.
- Ensure the battery is not excessively large for the selected current.
- Over Temperature Protection activated:
- The charger will automatically stop charging if it overheats (above 65°C +/- 5°C). Allow it to cool down in a well-ventilated area before resuming use.
- Ensure cooling vents are not blocked.
