6. User Tips

Here are some helpful tips for an optimal experience with your T1 Smart TV Box:

  • Stable Network: For the best streaming experience, especially with 4K content, ensure your Wi-Fi connection is strong, or use a wired Ethernet connection if possible. If experiencing connection drops, try moving the TV Box closer to your router or using the 5GHz Wi-Fi band.
  • Power Supply: Always use a 5V2A power adapter to ensure stable operation. Using an underpowered adapter may lead to performance issues.
  • Remote Control Modes: When using apps like Netflix, you might need to switch between standard remote mode and mouse mode for easier navigation and text input (e.g., for entering account passwords).

7. Troubleshooting

This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your Mortal T1 Smart TV Box.

Network Connection Issues

  • Connection Drops: Ensure your Wi-Fi signal is strong. Try restarting your router and the TV Box. If using Wi-Fi, consider switching to the 5GHz band for better performance or connect via an Ethernet cable for maximum stability.
  • No Internet Access: Verify that your router has an active internet connection. Check all cable connections (HDMI, power, Ethernet if used).

Application Specific Issues

  • Netflix App Usage: The T1 machine comes with two Netflix applications: an ATV version (white icon) and a mobile version (black icon). The black icon Netflix is generally more stable. For account password entry, you may need to switch the remote to remote control mode; for other interactions, mouse mode might be required.
  • Disney Applications: Due to strict regional restrictions, Disney applications are currently not compatible with this device. Developers are working on compatible versions, but it is not available at this time.
  • Other App Loading Failures: If some applications fail to load after downloading, it is likely due to an incompatibility between the downloaded app version and the Android system of the TV Box. This is not a device quality issue. Please try searching for and downloading a more suitable version of the application.

No Picture/Sound

  • No Picture: Ensure the HDMI cable is securely connected to both the TV Box and the TV. Check that your TV is set to the correct HDMI input source.
  • No Sound: Check the volume levels on both your TV and the TV Box. Ensure any external audio devices are properly connected and selected as the audio output.

8. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Mortal T1 Smart TV Box, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the TV Box. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
  • Ventilation: Ensure the TV Box is placed in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating. Do not block any ventilation openings.
  • Software Updates: Periodically check for system updates in the device settings to ensure you have the latest features and security patches.
  • Power Off Properly: Always power off the device using the remote control or by safely shutting down the system before unplugging it.

9. Warranty and Support

For detailed warranty information, please refer to the documentation provided at the time of purchase or contact your retailer. If you encounter issues that cannot be resolved using this manual, please reach out to the manufacturer's customer support for assistance.
