1. Introduction

The OFFBONDAGE Link-S BCM401 is a high-end, wireless, full-color touchscreen GPS bike computer designed to enhance your cycling experience. It combines advanced navigation, comprehensive data tracking, and smart connectivity features in a compact and durable device.

4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge your bike computer using the provided Type-C USB cable. Connect the cable to the device's Type-C port and a standard USB power adapter (not included). A full charge takes approximately 3 hours.

4.2 Mounting the Device

4.3 Powering On/Off

• Power On: Long press the power button (located on the side) when the device is off.
• Screen On/Off: Short press the power button when the device is powered on.
• Power Off: Long press the power button for 3 seconds when the device is powered on.
• Force Shutdown: Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds.
• Rainy Day Mode: Quickly double-click the power button twice to enter lock screen mode. Press any key to cancel.

5.1 Basic Navigation

The device features a 2.4-inch full-color touch screen for intuitive navigation. Swipe and tap to access different menus and settings.

5.2 Cycling Activities Control

Use the dedicated cycling activities button (usually a play/pause icon) for ride management:

• Enter Riding Page: Short press the cycling activities button from any interface.
• Start/Pause Recording: Short press the cycling activities button while on the riding page.
• End Recording: Long press the cycling activities button while on the riding page.
• Record Lap: Short press the cycling activities button on the cycling page to mark a lap.

5.3 Data Display

The device displays various cycling data in real-time. You can customize data pages to show metrics such as speed, distance, cadence, heart rate, altitude, and more. The color display ensures clear visibility of all data.

5.4 Day/Night Theme

The device automatically switches between day and night themes based on local time. This feature helps prevent dazzling and eye strain, ensuring optimal readability in varying light conditions.

6. Navigation Features

6.1 Four-Star Positioning System

The Link-S BCM401 utilizes a robust four-star positioning system, integrating GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, and GALILEO satellite networks. This ensures rapid (within 30 seconds) and highly accurate positioning, even in challenging environments.

6.2 Offline Map Navigation

1. Download offline map packages from the official website provided by the device manufacturer.
2. Import the downloaded map packages into the device's TF card (40MB internal storage, TF card for expansion needs to be prepared separately).
3. The device can record and store routes based on your cycling activities.
4. You can upload network files or route books shared by friends through the Link-S app.
5. Device history records can be used to directly generate route books and routes.
