1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the DOYOKY Wireless Classic RGB Joycon Controller. 3. Product Overview

The DOYOKY Joycon controllers are designed for comfortable and precise gameplay. They feature an ergonomic, non-slip design with larger buttons and joysticks to prevent accidental presses.

4. Setup

4.1. Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge your DOYOKY Joycon controllers. Each controller has a built-in 500mAh battery.

  • Connect the supplied USB-C charging cable to the charging port on each Joycon controller.
  • Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to a USB power source (e.g., Nintendo Switch dock, USB wall adapter, or computer USB port).
  • Charging time is approximately 3 hours for a full charge.
  • A full charge provides up to 7-8 hours of continuous use.

4.2. Pairing with Nintendo Switch

The controllers support Wireless (Bluetooth) and Wired (USB-C) connectivity.

  1. Wireless Pairing:
    • From the Nintendo Switch HOME Menu, select 'Controllers' > 'Change Grip/Order'.
    • On the Joycon controller, press and hold the SYNC Button (small round button on the side rail) for a few seconds until the player indicator lights begin to flash.
    • Once paired, the player indicator light(s) will remain solid.
  2. Wired Connection:
    • Attach the Joycon controllers to the sides of your Nintendo Switch console. They will automatically connect.
    • Alternatively, connect the controllers to the included centerpiece and then connect the centerpiece to the Switch dock via a USB-C cable (not included for centerpiece to dock connection, only for charging).

  • Light Modes: Single Colour Mode, Breathing Color Changing Mode, Rainbow Mode.
  • Brightness: 4 levels of brightness are adjustable.
  • Refer to the controller's specific button combination (usually a dedicated light button or a combination with the 'L' or 'R' button) to cycle through modes and adjust brightness.

5.2. Back Map Button

The wireless controller features a programmable back button (labeled 'M') for custom button mapping.

  • You can map any of the X, Y, A, B, Z, L, R buttons to the rectangle button on the back (3L/3R).
  • This allows for easier activation of hard-to-reach buttons during gameplay.
  • Consult the specific instructions for mapping procedures, typically involving holding the 'M' button and the desired button simultaneously.

  • Activation: Press the Turbo button along with any of the X, Y, A, B buttons to enable auto-fire.

5.4. Dual Vibration

  • The controllers offer 3 levels of adjustable vibration feedback.
  • These levels provide precise vibration feedback: 0%, 30%, 50%, 75%, and 100%.
  • Adjust the vibration intensity to match your preference and game experience.

5.5. 6-Axis Gyro Motion Controls

6. Maintenance

  • Keep the controllers clean by wiping them with a soft, dry cloth.

7. Troubleshooting

Controller not connecting/pairing:
Ensure the controllers are charged. Follow the pairing instructions in Section 4.2. If issues persist, try restarting your Nintendo Switch console.
Buttons or joysticks unresponsive:
Check for any physical obstructions. Ensure the controller is properly connected or paired. If using wirelessly, check battery level.
Vibration not working:
Ensure the vibration function is enabled in your game settings and on the controller itself (if applicable). Check the vibration intensity levels.
LED lights not functioning:
Ensure the controller is powered on and charged. Cycle through the light modes and brightness levels as described in Section 5.1.
