3. Setup and Installation
3.1. Download and Register App
- Download the "Smart Life" app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Register an account and select your country.
- Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
3.2. Device Pairing
- Turn on your phone's Bluetooth.
- Power on the downlight.
- To put the bulb into pairing mode, turn the light ON/OFF 5 times (ON/OFF/ON/OFF/ON) until it blinks.
- In the Smart Life app, tap "Add Device" or the "+" icon. The app will search for nearby devices.
- Confirm that the light has flashed or breathed in the app.
- Once detected, tap to add the device.
3.3. Physical Installation
Safety Warning: Always ensure power is OFF at the circuit breaker before attempting any electrical installation.
- Cut a circular hole in the ceiling with a diameter between 75mm and 105mm.
- Connect the electrical wires from the ceiling to the downlight's terminals. Ensure secure connections.
- Push the spring clips on the sides of the downlight upwards.
- Insert the downlight into the prepared hole in the ceiling. Release the clips to secure the light in place.


4. Operation
4.1. Basic Light Control
Once paired, you can control the downlight via the Smart Life app:
- Power On/Off: Toggle the ON/OFF switch in the app.
- Color Adjustment: Select from 16 million RGB colors using the color wheel.
- White Light Adjustment: Adjust brightness and color temperature (warm white to cold white) for white light modes.
- Scene Modes: Choose from various pre-set scenes like "Good Night", "Leisure", "Gorgeous", "Dream", "Sunflower", "Grassland" for different atmospheres.


4.2. Advanced Features
- Timer Control: Set schedules for the lights to turn on or off at specific times. This feature may have an error of about 30 seconds. If power-on and power-off operations are performed, the timing data may become invalid; please reset.
- Music Rhythm Mode: The lights can synchronize with music played through your phone's microphone, creating dynamic lighting effects.
- Voice Control: The downlight works with Alexa and Google Home when connected via a Tuya BT gateway. You can use voice commands to control the lights (e.g., "Alexa, turn on light").

- Lights Disconnected / Unresponsive: If your phone's Bluetooth is turned off, the lights will disconnect and become uncontrollable. Ensure Bluetooth is active on your phone.
- Connection Failure: Connection failures or other problems are often caused by poor compatibility between the router and the mobile phone. Try restarting your router and phone.
- Resetting to Factory Settings: To restore the factory settings, continuously switch the power OFF and ON five times. The light will then flash, indicating it has entered factory settings mode.
- Voice Control Issues: Ensure you have a Tuya BT gateway connected for Alexa or Google Home integration. Verify that the gateway is properly configured in the Smart Life app.
