6. Troubleshooting and Compatibility
If you encounter issues with programming or operation, please review the following common problems and solutions:
- Incorrect LED behavior during programming: Ensure you are pressing the buttons correctly and holding them for the required duration. The LED should flash to indicate successful steps.
- Remote not working after programming: Verify that your original Hormann remote control has BLUE buttons. This remote is specifically designed for Hormann 868MHz remotes with blue buttons.
- Incompatibility with certain models: This remote is NOT compatible with Hormann BS BiSecur versions. Always check your original remote's model code and frequency. The frequency must be exactly 868MHz.

8. User Tips
- Verify Compatibility First: Before attempting to program, double-check that your original Hormann remote has blue buttons and is not a 'BS BiSecur' version. This is the most common reason for programming failure.
- Optimal Cloning Distance: During the code copying process, ensure the new remote is placed as close as possible to the original remote for best signal reception.
- Clear Code Before Copying: Always perform the 'Clear History Code' step before attempting to copy a new code to prevent interference from previous programming.
