5. Installation and Setup

  1. Unpacking Inspection: Carefully open the package and inspect the TV mount and all accessories for any signs of damage or missing parts. Do not proceed with installation if any components are damaged.
  2. Gather Tools: Ensure you have the necessary tools for installation, which typically include a drill, stud finder, level, screwdriver, and pencil.
  3. Determine Mounting Location: Choose a suitable wall location, ensuring it can support the weight of your TV and the mount. Use a stud finder to locate wall studs for secure mounting.
  4. Attach Brackets to TV: Secure the vertical mounting brackets to the back of your TV using the appropriate screws and spacers from the hardware kit. Ensure the brackets are centered and level.
  5. Mount Wall Plate: Position the wall plate on the desired location on the wall. Use the integrated bubble level to ensure it is perfectly horizontal. Mark the drilling points.
  6. Drill Pilot Holes: Drill pilot holes at the marked locations. If mounting into wood studs, drill directly. If mounting into concrete or brick, use a masonry drill bit and insert wall anchors.
  7. Secure Wall Plate: Attach the wall plate to the wall using the provided lag bolts and washers. Tighten securely, but do not overtighten.
  8. Hang TV: Carefully lift the TV with the attached brackets and hook them onto the wall plate. Ensure the TV is securely seated on the wall plate.
  9. Secure TV to Wall Plate: Use the safety screws or locking mechanisms (if provided) to secure the TV brackets to the wall plate, preventing accidental dislodgement.

6. Normal Operation

Once the TV is securely mounted, normal operation involves using your television as usual. This mount is designed for a fixed, low-profile installation. While the mounting brackets allow for minor adjustments during installation to achieve perfect leveling, the mount itself does not offer articulation (tilt, swivel, or extension) once installed.

7. Cleaning and Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe off surface dust or stains promptly after use with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish.
  • Inspection: Periodically check all mounting screws and connections to ensure they remain tight and secure.
