3. Setup Guide
3.1. Power Connection
Connect the included DC 12V power adapter to the 'DC 12V IN' jack on the rear panel of the mixer. First, connect the adapter to the mixer, then plug it into an appropriate AC outlet. The mixer supports various regional plug types (EU, US, AU) via the adapter.

Use the ON/OFF switch to power the unit on or off. Rapidly switching the unit on/off can cause malfunction; wait about 5 seconds before turning it on again after powering off. Even when off, electricity may still flow; unplug the AC adapter if not using for a while.
3.2. Microphone Connections
The mixer features XLR/6.35mm combination sockets for microphone and line inputs on channels 1-6.
- Condenser Microphones: Connect via an XLR cable. Press the 48V button for the corresponding channel to activate phantom power. This is essential for condenser microphones to function. Phantom power is supplied only through the XLR input, not the 6.35mm jack.

- Dynamic Microphones: Can be connected via XLR or 6.35mm jack.
- If using an XLR cable with a dynamic microphone, ensure the 48V button for that channel is OFF to prevent damage to the microphone.

- If using a 6.35mm jack for a dynamic microphone, the 48V button's state (on/off) does not affect the microphone as phantom power is not supplied to this input type. However, using an XLR connection is generally recommended for better sound quality with dynamic microphones.

- Incompatible Microphones: Condenser microphones requiring 48V phantom power will not work if connected via a 6.35mm adapter. USB microphones are also not compatible with the mixer's USB port.

3.3. Instrument and Audio Device Connections
Connect instruments like electronic pianos or other audio devices (e.g., DVD players, mobile phones) to the mixer's LINE IN/MIC inputs. For devices like DVD players or mobile phones, use RCA to 6.35mm jack cables. Avoid using XLR cables for these devices.

3.4. Output Connections
The mixer provides balanced XLR and 1/4" jack MAIN OUTPUTS to connect to external power amplifiers, active speakers, or other audio processing equipment like equalizers or effects units.

3.5. Headphone Connection
Connect a standard pair of headphones to the PHONES jack for monitoring your mix.
4. Operating Instructions
