4. Setup
4.1 Battery Charging
- Connect the drone's Lipo Battery to the provided USB charging cable.
- Plug the USB cable into a suitable USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
- The charging indicator will show the charging status. A full charge takes approximately 90 minutes.
4.2 Battery Installation
- Ensure the drone and remote control are powered off.
- Carefully insert the fully charged Lipo Battery into the battery compartment of the drone. Ensure it clicks securely into place.
- Open the battery compartment of the remote control and insert 3 AAA batteries (not included), observing correct polarity. Close the compartment.
4.3 App Installation & Pairing
- Search for the dedicated 4DRC drone application on your smartphone's app store (e.g., Apple App Store or Google Play Store) and install it.
- Power on the drone. The LED lights will flash.
- Power on the remote control. The remote control will beep, and its indicator light will flash.
- Push the left joystick up and then down. The remote control will beep again, and the drone's LED lights will stop flashing, indicating successful pairing.
- On your smartphone, connect to the drone's Wi-Fi network (usually named '4DRC-V33-XXXX').
- Open the 4DRC app to view the real-time camera feed and access additional flight functions.
