6.3 Detecting Laser Lines
- Turn on your Firecore laser level and activate its pulse mode.
- Turn on the FD30 receiver.
- Move the receiver slowly up or down in the area where you expect the laser line to be.
- The receiver will provide visual and audible feedback:
- Datum lower than laser line: The top arrow on the display will light up, and the buzzer will emit a continuous fast beep. Move the receiver upwards.
- Datum higher than laser line: The bottom arrow on the display will light up, and the buzzer will emit a continuous slow beep. Move the receiver downwards.
- When datum is in line with laser line: The middle LED indicator light will display in green, and the buzzer will emit a steady tone. This indicates the precise location of the laser line.
