Important Notes from Diagram:
- LED light charging turn state, full charge always green light, charging flashing green light.
- Each charging bin corresponds to a green indicator light, charging is the indicator light flashing, full electricity is always bright.
- 1.2V Ni-MH is not available for single battery charging, only using 1, 2, 3 or 4 charging positions at the same time.
6.4. Multiple Protection Features
The POWERKAN K49 charger is equipped with a built-in power protection system to ensure safety during charging:
- Over Charge Protection
- Over Current Protection
- Over Voltage Protection

7. Maintenance
The POWERKAN K49 charger does not require special maintenance. Simply wipe it clean regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust or debris. Ensure the charger is disconnected from the power source before cleaning.
8. Troubleshooting
Common Issues and Solutions:
- Charger not working / No LED indication:
- Ensure the USB Type-C cable is securely connected to both the charger and the power source.
- Verify that the power adapter or USB port is functioning correctly and provides DC 5V 1-2A.
- Check if the charger or cable has any visible damage. If so, discontinue use.
- Batteries not charging:
- Ensure batteries are inserted with correct polarity (+/-).
- Confirm that the batteries are compatible Ni-MH (1.2V AA/AAA, 9V) or 8.4V Li-ion types.
- For 1.2V Ni-MH batteries, ensure you are charging at least two batteries simultaneously (in positions 1&2 or 3&4, or all four). Single 1.2V Ni-MH battery charging is not supported.
- Check if the batteries are severely depleted or damaged. Try charging a different set of known good batteries.
- LED indicator behavior:
- Flashing green light indicates the battery is currently charging.
- Solid green light indicates the battery is fully charged.
- For 8.4V Li-ion batteries, the LED indicator may turn off when fully charged.
9. User Tips
- Monitor LED Indicators: Pay close attention to the LED lights. A flashing green light means charging is in progress, and a solid green light (or off for some Li-ion) means charging is complete. This is the primary way to know your battery status.
- Group Charging for Ni-MH: Remember that 1.2V Ni-MH batteries must be charged in pairs (slots 1&2 or 3&4) or all four slots simultaneously. Do not attempt to charge a single 1.2V Ni-MH battery.
- Use a Quality Power Adapter: To ensure optimal charging speed and safety, use a reliable 5V 2A USB power adapter.
