6. Setup

  1. Connect Power Supply: Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the input port on the charger. Connect the other end of the cable to a compatible 5V 2A USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, mobile power supply, USB wall adapter, or car charger).
  2. Power On: The charger's LCD display will illuminate, indicating it is ready for use.

7. Operating Instructions

  1. Insert Batteries: Carefully insert one or two rechargeable batteries into the charging slots, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). The charger will automatically detect the battery type (Li-ion or NiMH) and initiate the charging process.
  2. Monitor Charging Status: The LCD screen will display real-time charging information for each battery, including voltage, charging current, and percentage charged.
  3. Switch Channel Information: Short press the "C" button to cycle through and check the charging status information for battery channels 1 and 2.
  4. Adjust Charging Current: Short press the "A" button to switch between available charging currents: 0.5A, 1A, and 2A. Select the appropriate current based on your battery's specifications.
  5. Charging Completion: The charger will automatically stop charging when the batteries reach their full capacity, indicated by the display.

8. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the charger's exterior. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: Store the charger in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use.
  • Avoid Impact: Protect the charger from drops and impacts, which can damage internal components.

9. Troubleshooting

  • Charger not turning on: Ensure the USB Type-C cable is securely connected to both the charger and a working 5V 2A power source. Try a different cable or power adapter.
  • Battery not charging: Check that the battery is inserted with correct polarity. Ensure the battery is a supported rechargeable type and not damaged. Clean the battery contacts and charger terminals if dirty.
  • Display not showing information: If the display is blank or showing incorrect data, try re-inserting the battery or power cycling the charger.
  • Overheating: If the charger or batteries become excessively hot during charging, immediately disconnect the power and remove the batteries. Ensure adequate ventilation and that the charging current is not too high for the battery.

  • For optimal battery life, avoid fully discharging Li-ion batteries before recharging.
  • When charging multiple batteries, ensure they are of the same type and capacity for balanced charging.
