Various Fixing Methods for Laser Level

Image: Diagrams showing strong magnetic bracket, 5/8" thread mount, 1/4" thread mount, and tripod mounting options.

  • Strong Magnetic Bracket: Attach the bracket to metallic surfaces. The bracket allows 360° rotation for precise positioning.
  • 5/8" Thread Mount: Use the included adapter to mount the laser level onto standard 5/8" tripods or poles.
  • 1/4" Thread Mount: Directly mount the laser level onto tripods or accessories with a 1/4" screw.
  • Tripod: Mount the laser level onto the included 1M tripod for adjustable height and stable positioning.
  • Lifting Platform: Use the lifting platform to adjust the laser height from 1" to 3.54" above the surface, useful for tile installation or working around obstacles.
  • Wall Bracket: The upper wall bracket with an iron plate allows for secure mounting on walls.

4.3. Tripod Assembly and Adjustment

The included 1M tripod provides stable support and height adjustment.

Tripod Features and Dimensions

  1. Extend the tripod legs and secure them using the adjustment buckles.
  2. Adjust the height using the neck extension locking mechanism and rotary rocker.
  3. Ensure the tripod is stable on a flat surface before mounting the laser level.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Power On/Off

  • To power on, slide the pendulum lock switch to the unlocked position. The laser level will automatically enter self-leveling mode.
  • To power off, slide the pendulum lock switch to the locked position.

5.2. Self-Leveling Mode

When the pendulum is unlocked, the laser tool self-levels within ±3°. If the device is out of its self-leveling range, the laser lines will flash rapidly, and an audible beep will sound, indicating an out-of-level condition. Adjust the position of the laser level until it self-levels.

Self-Leveling vs Manual Mode

Image: Comparison of self-leveling mode (level lines) and manual mode (angled lines).

5.3. Manual Mode (Lock Mode)

To use the laser level at any angle (e.g., for stairs or sloped surfaces):

  1. With the unit powered off (pendulum locked), press and hold the power button for 3 seconds. The laser lines will appear, indicating manual mode.
  2. In manual mode, the self-leveling function is deactivated, and the laser lines can be projected at any desired angle. The lines will not flash or beep when tilted.

5.4. Switching Laser Planes

The WEIDDW laser level features four 360° laser planes (two horizontal, two vertical).

  • Press the 'V' button on the control panel or remote control to cycle through vertical laser planes.
  • You can switch between 4 or 8 vertical lines depending on your model and needs.

5.5. Pulse Mode

Pulse mode is used for working with a laser receiver (not included) in bright light conditions or over long distances. To activate pulse mode, press the pulse mode button (often indicated by a 'P' or a wave symbol) on the control panel or remote control.

5.6. Remote Control Operation

The included remote control allows for convenient operation of the laser level from a distance.

  • Ensure the remote control has fresh batteries for optimal performance.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Clean the laser level with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Keep the laser apertures clean to ensure clear beam projection.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the laser level in its protective handheld box in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight. Ensure the pendulum is locked before storage.
  • Battery Care: Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period. Recharge batteries regularly to maintain their lifespan.
  • Calibration: If you suspect the laser level is out of calibration, refer to a professional service center.
