- To install a new switch, align its pins with the holes on the PCB and press down firmly until it clicks into place.
- Place the keycap back onto the switch stem.
7. Troubleshooting
7.1 No Light or No Response
- Confirm the keyboard's ON/OFF switch is in the 'ON' position.
- Check if the battery is sufficiently charged. Connect the keyboard to a computer USB port for charging.
- If using 2.4G wireless, ensure the USB receiver is properly connected to your computer.
- If the issue persists, try code pairing according to the instructions (usually involves holding FN + a specific key for a few seconds to enter pairing mode).
7.2 Some Keys Not Working
Since the keyboard is hot-swappable, individual key issues can often be resolved by reseating the switch:
- Gently remove the keycap of the non-working key.
- Carefully remove the switch using a switch puller.
- Re-insert the switch, ensuring the pins are straight and it's fully seated.
- Replace the keycap.
