This module is designed to integrate seamlessly with your vehicle's existing infotainment system, offering enhanced connectivity and functionality.
Note: This product is not compatible with cars equipped with a 360-degree camera system.

Functional Statement
The module integrates with your car's system to provide:
- CarPlay / Android Auto: Seamless integration with iPhone and Android devices for voice commands, phone calls, information, navigation, and music. Supports both wireless and wired connections.
- Reversing Video Input: Smart module decodes video for rear-view camera input.
- Mirroring: Supports wired and wireless screen mirroring for iPhone and Android phones.
- USB Video Playback: Automatic media playback from a USB drive for video and audio.

3. Setup and Installation
Before installation, ensure your vehicle is turned off and the battery is disconnected to prevent electrical damage.
3.1 Connection Diagram

- For Panasonic Fujitsu mainframes: All switches OFF.

4. Operation
4.1 Switching to CarPlay System
There are three methods to switch to the CarPlay interface:
- From the original car screen: First, click the "FM" icon, then click the "AUX" icon to enter.
- From the steering wheel: Long press the voice button.
- If no voice button: Press the "MODE" button.
4.2 Control Key Operation
The module supports control via original car buttons and touch screen.

Original Car Button Control:

- Short press to wake up Siri; Long press 2s to switch CarPlay system.
Touch Screen Control:
The module fully supports touch screen operation for smooth and lag-free interaction with CarPlay and Android Auto interfaces.
4.3 Wireless CarPlay Connection
To connect your iPhone wirelessly to CarPlay:

- Step 1: On the module's interface, select "Bluetooth".
- Step 2: On your phone, check for a Bluetooth device named "CAR-BT-xxxx".
- Step 3: Turn on Wi-Fi on your phone and keep it on. Then, return to Bluetooth settings and connect to "CAR-BT-xxxx".
- Step 4: Select the Bluetooth device name "CAR-BT-xxxx" and pair. When prompted, choose "Use CarPlay".
Wired Connection Method: Connect your phone to the module using a USB cable. A pop-up window will appear; click "Use CarPlay".
4.4 Apple Wireless Screen Mirroring
To mirror your iPhone screen wirelessly:

- Step 1: On the module's interface, select "Airplay".
- Step 2: On your iPhone, go to Wi-Fi settings and select the "Wireless LAN" option. Search for "CAR-WIFI-XXX" and connect. The password is
66668888. - Step 3: After successful Wi-Fi connection, return to your iPhone's main interface, open the Control Center (shortcut menu), select "Screen Mirroring", and turn it on.
- Step 4: Select "Airplay" from the available devices to complete wireless screen mirroring.
4.5 Wireless Android Auto Connection
To connect your Android phone wirelessly to Android Auto:

- Step 1: On the module's interface, select "Bluetooth".
- Step 2: On your phone, check for a Bluetooth device named "CAR-BT-xxxx".
- Step 3: Click on the Bluetooth name "CAR-BT-xxxx". A pairing request will pop up; click "Pairing". After successful pairing, your phone will prompt to enable Android Auto; confirm it.
- Step 4: Turn on the Android Auto app on your mobile phone, and the system will connect automatically.
Wired Connection Method: Connect your phone to the module using a USB cable. A pop-up window will appear; click "Allow".
4.6 Android Wireless Screen Mirroring
To mirror your Android phone screen wirelessly:

- Step 1: Scan the QR code displayed on the module's "Auto Link" screen using your Android phone's browser to download the Auto Link app.
- Step 2: In the module's settings page, switch "WifiAutoLink" to "ON".
- Step 3: Open the downloaded Auto Link app on your phone. Search for "WiFiAutolink-xxx" and connect. Click "START NOW" on the phone prompt box.
- Step 4: After the Auto Link connection, touch reverse control and media sound will be enabled. Connect to Bluetooth for media sound.
5. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your CARABC module, follow these general maintenance guidelines:
- Keep the module and its connections dry and free from moisture.
- Clean the module's exterior gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Ensure all cables are securely connected and not pinched or strained.
- Avoid exposing the module to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
6. Troubleshooting
6.1 Echo Correction (AEC Delay)
If you experience echo during calls, you can perform an echo correction:

- Navigate to: Settings > Audio > AEC Delay.
- Click the "Start Auto AEC" button.
- During the correction process, ensure the car is quiet.
- Set the volume to a moderate position.
- Click "start" to initiate the echo cancellation.
6.2 Common Issues & Solutions
- No display after installation:
- Check all power and video connections as per the connection diagram.
- Ensure the correct DIP switch settings are applied for your car's head unit.
- Verify that the car's original system is Touch2 or Entune2.0.
- CarPlay/Android Auto not connecting wirelessly:
- Ensure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on your phone.
- Confirm you are connecting to the correct "CAR-BT-xxxx" and "CAR-WIFI-XXX" networks.
- Try restarting both your phone and the car's infotainment system.
- Screen Mirroring issues:
- For Apple devices, ensure Wi-Fi is connected to "CAR-WIFI-XXX" and Airplay is selected.
- For Android devices, ensure the "Auto Link" app is installed and "WifiAutoLink" is enabled in settings.
- Check for any firewall or security settings on your phone that might block mirroring.
- Audio problems (no sound, distorted sound):
- Verify the car's audio input is set to AUX.
- Check volume levels on both the car's system and your phone.
- Ensure Bluetooth is properly connected for media audio.
7. User Tips
- Compatibility Check: Always double-check your Toyota model and infotainment system version (Touch2 or Entune2.0) before installation. Pay close attention to specific radio model exclusions mentioned in the compatible model list.
- Screen Differentiation: If you have a Prius 2018, ensure you can differentiate your screen type as some models might not be compatible.
- Firmware Updates: Regularly check the manufacturer's website or contact support for any available firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and compatibility with the latest phone OS versions.
- USB Media: For best performance with USB media, use a high-quality USB drive formatted to FAT32.
- Voice Control: Familiarize yourself with voice commands for Siri or Google Assistant to minimize distractions while driving.

Warranty Exclusions
The following conditions are not covered under the free warranty service:
