4. Setup Guide

4.1 Powering On the Device

  1. Connect the provided Type-C Power Cable to the 5V Power Interface on the receiver.
  2. Connect the other end of the Type-C cable to a 5V1A USB power adapter (not included). The receiver will automatically turn on once power is supplied.
  3. Toggle the ON/OFF switch to the 'ON' position if it's not already.

Note: The BR05 SE does not have a built-in battery and requires continuous USB power. Using a 5V1A charger is recommended to prevent insufficient voltage/current, which can cause noise.

4.2 Connecting to Audio System

The BR05 SE offers two ways to connect to your wired speakers, headphones, or amplifier:

  • Using 3.5mm AUX Cable: Connect one end of the 3.5mm AUX audio cable to the AUX output port on the receiver and the other end to the AUX input port of your speaker/amplifier.
  • Using RCA Cable: Connect the red and white plugs of the RCA audio cable to the corresponding RCA output ports on the receiver. Connect the other end to the RCA input ports of your speaker/amplifier.

You can connect to two audio devices simultaneously using both the 3.5mm AUX and RCA outputs.

4.3 Pairing with Bluetooth Devices

  1. Ensure the BR05 SE is powered on and connected to your audio system.
  2. On your smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled device, go to the Bluetooth settings.
  3. Turn on Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  4. Select "BR05 SE" from the list of devices to pair. Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator light on the receiver will illuminate steadily.

4.4 NFC One-Touch Connection

For NFC-enabled smartphones, you can connect quickly:

  1. Ensure NFC is enabled on your smartphone.
  2. Tap your NFC-enabled smartphone or tablet to the NFC Sensing Area on the BR05 SE.
  3. Confirm the connection prompt on your phone. The device will automatically connect/disconnect pairing when approaching the sensing area.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Music Playback

  • Bluetooth Mode: Once paired, play music from your connected Bluetooth device.
  • TF Card Mode: Insert a TF card (up to 64GB) into the TF Card Slot. The receiver will automatically switch to TF card playback.

5.2 EQ Sound Effects

The BR05 SE features 5 EQ modes to customize your listening experience:

5.3 Hands-Free Calling

With its built-in high-definition microphone, the BR05 SE supports hands-free calling when connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth. You can answer, reject, or end calls directly through your phone while enjoying music or navigation audio.

5.4 Audio Source Switching

The device automatically prioritizes audio sources. When a TF card is inserted, it will play from the TF card. When the TF card is removed, it will switch back to Bluetooth audio if a device is connected.

6. Maintenance

  • Keep the device dry. Moisture can damage the internal circuitry.
  • Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures.
  • Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
