  • Review/Delete Button: Used to review captured photos/videos or delete selected files.
  • Power On/Off/Confirm Button: Press and hold to power on/off. Short press to confirm selections.

3. Setup

3.1. Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the microscope. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the microscope's Type-C port and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The charging indicator will show the charging status.

3.2. Inserting a TF Card (Optional)

The microscope has built-in storage for photos and videos. For extended storage, you can insert a TF (microSD) card (up to 64GB, not included) into the designated TF card slot. Ensure the microscope is powered off before inserting or removing the card.

3.3. Attaching the Lanyard

Attach the portable lanyard to the microscope's designated loop to prevent accidental drops, especially during outdoor use.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Power On/Off

Press and hold the Power On/Off/Confirm button for a few seconds until the screen turns on/off.

4.2. Observation

  1. Place the microscope's lens directly over the object you wish to observe.
  2. Adjust the focus by rotating the ribbed ring near the lens until the image on the screen is clear.
  3. Use the Zoom In (+) and Zoom Out (-) buttons to adjust the magnification.
  4. Press the Zoom In (+) or Zoom Out (-) buttons briefly to adjust the brightness of the 8 LED lights for optimal viewing.

4.3. Taking Photos and Recording Videos

  • To take a photo: Short press the Take Photos/Videos button. The screen will briefly flash, indicating a photo has been captured.
  • To record a video: Long press the Take Photos/Videos button to start recording. A 'REC' indicator will appear on the screen. Long press again to stop recording.

4.4. Reviewing and Deleting Files

Press the Review/Delete button to enter review mode. Use the Zoom In (+) and Zoom Out (-) buttons to navigate through your captured photos and videos. To delete a file, select it and then press the Review/Delete button again, followed by the Power On/Off/Confirm button to confirm deletion.

4.5. PC Connection for Real-Time Viewing and Data Transfer

  1. Connect the microscope to your computer using the Type-C cable.
  2. On your computer, open a web browser and navigate to http://www.inskam.com/download/camera.zip to download the necessary software (camera.zip).
  3. Install the software on your computer.
  4. Launch the installed software. The microscope's view should now be displayed on your computer screen, allowing for real-time observation and easier management of files.

5. Maintenance

  • Cannot save photos/videos: Check if a TF card is properly inserted (if using one) and if there is sufficient storage space on either the internal memory or the TF card.
  • PC connection issues: Ensure the Type-C cable is securely connected to both the microscope and the computer. Verify that the correct software is installed and running on your PC. For MacOS, ensure your system is X11.0 or higher.
