This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your Jeatone 3MP WiFi Smart Tuya Doorbell Door Eye Camera 4.3Inch Peephole Viewer. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device to ensure proper functionality and safety.

Setup
1. Physical Installation
Ensure your door meets the following requirements:
- Peephole Diameter: 15 mm to 60 mm
- Door Thickness: 35 mm to 145 mm
If your door does not have a peephole, one must be drilled within the specified diameter range.
- Remove your existing peephole viewer.
- Insert the outdoor camera unit through the peephole from the outside of the door.
- From the inside, connect the flexible cable from the outdoor unit to the indoor monitor.
- Attach the hanging plate to the indoor side of the door, securing it with the provided screws.
- Mount the indoor monitor onto the hanging plate.

2. Powering On and Charging
The device has a built-in 5000mAh rechargeable lithium battery. Before first use, fully charge the indoor monitor using the provided Type-C charging cable and a 5V 1A power adapter (not included).
- Connect the charging cable to the Type-C port on the indoor monitor.
- Plug the other end into a USB power source.
- A low battery reminder will be displayed on the monitor and via app notifications when charging is needed.

3. App Installation and Device Pairing
Download the "Tuya Smart" or "Smart Life" app from your device's app store (iOS or Android).
- Open the app and register/log in.
- Tap "Add Device" or the "+" icon.
- Select "Camera & Lock" then "Smart Camera (Wi-Fi)" or "Doorbells".
- Follow the on-screen prompts to reset the device (if necessary) and ensure the indicator light is flashing rapidly.
- Enter your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network details (5GHz Wi-Fi is not supported).
- Scan the QR code displayed on your phone with the doorbell camera from 15-20 cm away.
- Once a prompt tone is heard, confirm in the app. The device should connect successfully.

Operating Instructions
1. Live View and Two-Way Audio
- Monitor Activation: When the doorbell button is pressed, the indoor monitor will automatically display the view from the outdoor camera.
- App Live View: Open the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app on your smartphone to view live footage from the camera anytime, anywhere.
- Two-Way Intercom: Use the app to speak with visitors at your door. The device features noise reduction for clear communication.

2. PIR Motion Detection
The built-in PIR motion sensor detects body movement. When motion is detected:
- You will receive push notifications on your smartphone.
- The device will automatically trigger snapshots or video recordings.
- Sensitivity settings for motion detection can be adjusted via the app.

3. Night Vision
The doorbell camera features HD Night Vision. Day/Night mode automatically switches to ensure optimal image quality in varying light conditions.

4. Volume Adjustment
You can adjust the volume of the doorbell and intercom via the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app settings.
5. Multiple Device Sharing and Multi-View
The wireless security camera supports multiple users to view the camera and past video records simultaneously. You can also view up to 4 cameras at the same time within the app.

Maintenance
1. Charging
The built-in 5000mAh battery provides approximately 2-3 months of operation based on 10-20 events triggered per day. When the battery level is low, you will receive an alarm notification on the monitor and through the app. Recharge the device using the Type-C charging port.

2. Cleaning
Wipe the camera lens and monitor screen with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the surfaces.
Troubleshooting
- Device not connecting to Wi-Fi: Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4 GHz. The device does not support 5GHz. Check Wi-Fi password and signal strength. Try resetting the device and re-pairing.
- No image on monitor/app: Check if the device is powered on and fully charged. Ensure the cable connecting the outdoor unit to the indoor monitor is securely connected.
- Motion detection not working: Verify PIR settings in the app. Adjust sensitivity if needed. Ensure there are no obstructions blocking the sensor.
- Short battery life: Frequent events (motion detection, doorbell presses, live views) will consume battery faster. Ensure the device is fully charged.
- Cannot hear visitor/visitor cannot hear you: Check volume settings in the app. Ensure microphone and speaker are not obstructed.
