3. Installation Guide

3.1 Pre-Installation Check

  • Ensure your vehicle is turned off and the battery is disconnected before starting installation.
  • Verify the correct power cable type (Type A or Type B) for your vehicle. If you require Type B, please contact support.
  • Use only the provided power cables to connect the car radio. Do not attempt to use the original car plug directly with the new unit.

3.2 Component Identification

Familiarize yourself with the main connectors on the back of the head unit and the accessory cables.

3.3 Wiring Connections

  1. Power Connection: Connect the provided power cable to the corresponding port on the head unit and your vehicle's wiring harness. Ensure correct polarity (Red and Yellow wires to positive, Black wire to negative).
  2. GPS Antenna: Connect the GPS antenna to the dedicated GPS port on the head unit. Position the antenna in a location with a clear view of the sky for optimal signal reception.
  3. USB Cables: Connect the two USB cables to the USB ports on the head unit. These can be routed to a convenient location in your car for connecting USB devices.
  4. RCA Cables: Connect the RCA cables for audio output (AMP, Subwoofer, Audio Out R/L), video input (Video In), and auxiliary input (AUX R/L) as needed for external amplifiers, monitors, or audio sources.
  5. Camera Input: Connect the camera input cable to the 'CAMIN' port on the head unit. This is essential for the reversing camera function.
  6. 4G Antenna (for 4G models): If your unit supports 4G, connect the 4G antenna to its designated port.

3.4 Frame Installation

Once all wiring is connected, carefully mount the head unit into the custom fit frame and then install the assembly into your car's dashboard opening. Ensure all clips and screws are securely fastened.

4.1 Power On/Off

Press and hold the power button on the unit or use your car's ignition to turn the device on or off.
