5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

  • Power On: Press the Power Button.
  • Shut Down: Click the Start button in Windows, then select Power > Shut down.
  • Restart: Click the Start button in Windows, then select Power > Restart.

5.2 Display Configuration

The BMAX B2 Pro supports dual display output via its two HDMI ports. You can configure display settings in Windows 11 to extend, duplicate, or use only one screen.

5.3 Connectivity

6. Maintenance

6.1 Storage Expansion

The BMAX B2 Pro includes an M.2 2280 SATA SSD slot for convenient storage expansion. To install an additional M.2 SSD:

  1. Power off the Mini PC and disconnect all cables.
  2. Carefully open the device casing (refer to specific instructions if provided with your unit, or seek professional assistance).
  3. Insert the M.2 2280 SATA SSD into the designated slot and secure it.
  4. Close the casing and reconnect cables.
  5. The new drive should be detected by Windows. You may need to initialize and format it through Disk Management before use.

6.2 Cleaning

6.3 Software Updates

Keep your Windows 11 operating system and drivers updated to ensure security, stability, and access to the latest features. Windows Update can be accessed through the Settings menu.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your BMAX B2 Pro, try the following steps:

  • No Power: Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the Mini PC and a working power outlet. Try a different outlet if necessary.
  • No Display: Verify that the HDMI cable is properly connected to both the Mini PC and the monitor/TV. Ensure the monitor/TV is set to the correct input source. Try a different HDMI cable or display if possible.
  • No Network Connection: For Wi-Fi, check if your router is working and if the Wi-Fi is enabled in Windows settings. For Ethernet, ensure the cable is securely connected and your network is active.
  • Slow Performance: Close unnecessary applications, check for background processes, and ensure your system is up-to-date. Consider running a disk cleanup or defragmentation.
  • Peripheral Not Detected: Try connecting the peripheral to a different USB port. Ensure drivers are installed if required by the peripheral.
