5. Setup
5.1. Installation Instructions
- Switch off the car engine.
- Insert the TF card into the TF card slot. Use a high-speed TF card (Class10 or above) with a capacity of not less than 8GB or more, and the SD card supports a maximum of 128GB.
- Fix the smart screen on the car's centre console using the soft bottom adhesive bracket.
- Insert the car charger into the cigarette lighter of the car. If your version supports OBD, connect it to the OBD port.
- Use the charging extension cable to connect the USB port of the recorder and the car charger. Lay the charging extension cable along the edge of the windscreen when wiring.
- Install the rear camera at the back of the vehicle. Pay attention to the direction when installing. The wiring can be laid along the roof of the vehicle. After installation, connect the rear plug to the rear camera port of the recorder.
- Adjust the position of the lens to ensure that the lens is level with the ground.
- Start the engine and check if the machine has been installed correctly.

Warning: Due to different car models, professional assistance is recommended for installation. This method is for reference only. In strict accordance with the instructions to install, prevent the recorder burn, recommended professional master installation.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Power On/Off
- Power On: In the off state, long press the power button for 3 seconds to turn on the unit.
- Power Off: In the power-on state, long press the power button for 3 seconds to automatically save data and switch off the machine.
- Screen Saver (HUD Mode): Short press the power button to enter HUD mode. Short press again to hibernate (turn off backlight). Short press again to light up.
- Reset: If the recorder crashes, short press the reset hole on the back of the body to reconnect the power supply.
6.2. Home Screen Navigation
The home screen provides access to various applications and settings. Swipe left or right to navigate through different pages of apps.

- Navigation Bar: Use the icons at the bottom or top of the screen to navigate:
- Back: Return to the previous screen.
- Home: Return to the main home screen.
- Recent Apps: View a list of recently used applications. Swipe up to clear background running apps.
- Status Bar: Swipe down from the top of the main interface to view the status bar, which allows you to adjust brightness, volume, WiFi, Bluetooth, Flight Mode, etc.
6.3. Media Playback (Native Player)
Click the 'Native Player' icon to access video, music, and picture playback.
- Video: Supports MP4, MOV, 3GP, MKV, FLV, WMV. Does not support 2K and 4K resolution video, VOB, RMVB, MPG.
- Music: Supports MP3, OGG, AAC, FLAC, WAV. Does not support WMA, APE.
- Pictures: Supports JPG, BMP.
6.4. Audio Output Methods
The device offers four ways to output audio:

- Native Audio: Audio output through the device's built-in speakers.
- AUX Audio: Connect an AUX audio cable to your car's speakers.
- FM Audio: Transmit audio to your car's FM radio.
- Tap 'FM' to enter FM mode.
- Click 'More Settings' to adjust the FM frequency.
- Adjust the frequency manually. (Tip: Tune your car radio to an empty band with no sound first).
- Switch on your car's radio and adjust to the appropriate frequency.
- Bookmark frequencies by clicking the pentagram icon.
- Bluetooth Transmitter Audio: Output audio via Bluetooth to your car's Bluetooth system.
6.5. Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto
Project functions of your phone onto the device wirelessly.

- Connection: Go to 'Settings' > 'Bluetooth'. Ensure your phone's Bluetooth hotspot is on. Pair your phone with the device.
- CarPlay (for iOS): Connect your iPhone via Bluetooth. Once connected, CarPlay will launch, displaying your iPhone apps on the device screen.
- Android Auto (for Android): Connect your Android phone via Bluetooth. Once connected, Android Auto will launch, displaying your Android apps on the device screen.
- Note: Huawei mobile phones are not supported for Android Auto.
6.6. Mirror Link
Mirror Link allows you to cast your mobile phone's screen (videos, pictures, music) directly to the device.

Click the 'Mirror Link' icon to access this feature. This feature supports iPhone Airplay and Miracast.
6.7. GPS Navigation
The device comes with Google Maps pre-installed. Connect to a WiFi hotspot for real-time navigation. You can also download and install other map applications from the Google Play Store.

When using CarPlay or Android Auto, you can project your phone's map onto the device and use voice assistants like Siri or Google Assistant for navigation.
6.8. Real-Time Reverse View
The device supports a 1080P full-screen reverse image with guide lines. When reversing, the system automatically displays the rear camera feed on the IPS screen.

The preview angle can be adjusted by sliding the left side of the screen to control the position of the guide line.
6.9. Google Play Store & App Download
The device has the Google Play Store pre-installed. You can download and install various applications such as music players, video players, and other utilities.

6.10. System Settings
Click the 'Settings' icon to access the system setup interface for various configurations:
- Network & Internet: Manage Wi-Fi connections. Turn Wi-Fi on/off, view available networks, and connect.
- Bluetooth: Open Bluetooth settings to pair with new devices, manage connections, and enable/disable Bluetooth.
- Display: Adjust brightness, wallpaper, and screen timeout.
- Storage: View total capacity, free space, and used space. If a TF card is inserted, its storage information will also be displayed.
- Languages & Input: Set system language and input methods. The device supports 21 languages including English, Chinese, German, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, etc.
- Date & Time: Set date and time, time zone, and 24-hour format. You can choose to set it automatically or manually.
- About Device: View system information such as model number, Android version, firmware version, and processor type.

7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the screen and exterior. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Software Updates: The device supports OTA (Over-The-Air) updates. Check for available updates periodically in the system settings to ensure optimal performance and access to new features.
- Storage Management: Regularly clear unnecessary files and applications to maintain sufficient storage space and device speed.
8. Troubleshooting
- Device not powering on: Ensure the car charger is properly connected and the car engine is running. If the device is unresponsive, try pressing the reset button.
- Screen frozen or unresponsive: Press the reset button on the back of the device.
- No audio output: Check the selected audio output method (Native, AUX, FM, Bluetooth) and ensure it is correctly configured. For FM audio, verify your car radio is tuned to the correct frequency.
- CarPlay/Android Auto not connecting: Ensure your phone's Bluetooth is on and paired with the device. For CarPlay, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your iPhone.
- GPS not working: Ensure the GPS antenna is properly connected and positioned for clear signal reception. Check network connectivity if using online maps.
- Rear camera not displaying: Verify the rear camera is correctly wired and connected to the device. Check the camera's power supply.
- Device is abnormal: If the car recorder is abnormal, long press the power button for 9 seconds to power off and restart the device.
9. User Tips
- Home Use: The device is designed for car use and requires a 12V/24V car power supply via the car charger. It cannot be directly connected with a standard USB-C cable and charger for home use.
- External Cameras: The device supports an analog rear camera via a 2.5mm 4-segment headset holder interface. It does not have a front camera or DVR function built-in, and direct USB connection for external cameras (like ADAS front cameras) is not explicitly supported.
- iOS Screen Mirroring: Yes, the device supports iOS screen mirroring via the 'Mirror Link' function, which utilizes iPhone Airplay.
- App Customization: You can replace or add apps to your desktop by long-pressing an app icon or using the '+' button on the home screen.
