6. Setup

  1. Connect Power: Connect the provided USB or Type-C cable to the charger and then to a compatible 5V/2A USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, power bank, computer USB port).
  2. Power On: The charger's LCD screen will illuminate, indicating it is ready for use.

7. Operating Instructions

7.1 Inserting Batteries

  • Carefully insert batteries into the charging slots.
  • Ensure the positive (+) and negative (-) ends of the battery align correctly with the markings in the slot. The charger's movable contacts will adjust to accommodate different battery lengths.

7.2 Automatic Detection and Charging

  • Once a battery is inserted, the charger will automatically detect its type (Li-ion or Ni-MH/Ni-CD) and begin the charging process.

7.3 Displaying Charging Information

  • The LCD screen shows various parameters such as charged capacity (mAh), current voltage (V), internal resistance (mΩ), and charging percentage (%).
  • To cycle through the displayed information for a specific slot, quick click the corresponding button (e.g., 'A' or 'C' for slots A and C).

7.4 Switching Charging Current

  • For Li-ion batteries, you can adjust the charging current between 0.5A, 1.0A, and 2.0A. Ni-MH/Ni-CD batteries typically charge at 0.5A per slot.
  • To change the charging current for a specific slot, quick click the corresponding button (e.g., 'A' or 'C') until the desired current is selected.

7.5 Charging Status Indicators

The battery icon on the LCD screen indicates the charging progress:

  • No power: No power
  • 6%-25%: One LED segment illuminated
  • 26%-50%: Two LED segments illuminated
  • 51%-75%: Three LED segments illuminated
  • 76%-100%: Four LED segments illuminated

Charging is complete when the battery icon shows full and the percentage reaches 100%.

8. Maintenance

  • Keep the charger clean and dry. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface.
  • Avoid exposing the charger to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or high humidity.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the charger yourself. Contact customer support if service is required.

9. Troubleshooting

  • Charger not turning on: Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the charger and a functional 5V/2A power source.
