3.2 Grinding Coffee Beans

  • Ensure the bean bin is filled with fresh whole coffee beans.
  • Select your desired grind size using the adjustment knob (15 settings available, from fine to coarse).
  • Place your portafilter under the grinder chute and activate the grinding function. The built-in conical burr grinder will grind beans on-site for optimal freshness.

3.3 Brewing Espresso

  • After grinding, tamp the coffee grounds evenly in the portafilter.
  • Attach the portafilter securely to the brew head.
  • Place your cup(s) on the drip tray.
  • Select your desired brewing option from the display. The 15-bar high-pressure pump and digital PID temperature control ensure precise extraction and a rich crema.

  • Coffee specialties can be prepared in less than 60 seconds.

3.4 Milk Frothing

  • Fill a milk pitcher with cold milk.
  • Position the steam wand into the milk.
  • Activate the frothing function. The 3-gear frother allows you to select the desired steam intensity for fine, misty, or advanced milk foam.

  • Wipe down the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth.
  • Clean the steam wand immediately after frothing milk to prevent milk residue buildup.
  • Remove and rinse the portafilter and filter basket after each use.

4.2 Descaling

The machine will remind you when descaling is necessary. When the number of brewed cups reaches a preset value, the descaling mark on the espresso machine's display will flash. Follow these general steps for descaling:

  1. Prepare a descaling solution according to the descaler manufacturer's instructions.
  2. Fill the water tank with the descaling solution.
  3. Place a large container under the brew head and steam wand.
  4. Initiate the descaling cycle (refer to the display or specific descaling button if available).
  5. Once the cycle is complete, rinse the water tank thoroughly and run several cycles with fresh water to remove any descaling solution residue.
