Introduction

This automatic self-cleaning litter box is designed to provide a clean and comfortable environment for your feline companion with minimal effort. Safety Guidelines

Failure to comply with the following terms may result in the litter box being unable to function properly or other unexpected losses.

1. Place the litter box on a firm and flat ground. Do not rely on objects or walls, to avoid affecting the weighing sensors. Do not place anything on the top of the litter box.
2. This litter box has four weight sensors at the bottom. Do not drag it when moving to avoid damage.
3. This litter box is suitable for small diameter tofu cat litter, mixed cat litter, bentonite cat litter, and mineral cat litter, which can be clumped. It is NOT suitable for tofu and mixed cat litter with diameter greater than 3mm (0.118 inches) or length greater than 15mm (0.59 inches), as it can cause waste of cat litter. Do not use non-clumping cat litter.
4. Kittens weighing less than 1kg and nursing cats are strictly prohibited from using the Auto cleaning & Timing cleaning functions.
5. The host (base) of this litter box is strictly prohibited from soaking in water. If accidentally getting wet during the cleaning process, wipe it dry to avoid damaging electrical components.
6. Please use the original power adapter to avoid litter box damage or safety hazards.
7. Please repair under the guidance of professional personnel to avoid product damage or other accidents.

• Barrel: The main rotating compartment where the cat uses the litter. Fully washable.

Setup Instructions

1. Unpacking and Inspection

1. Carefully remove the litter box from its packaging.
2. Remove all fixing tapes.
3. Open the waste bin lid and check if all components and accessories are present and undamaged according to the package contents list.
4. Ensure the barrel is installed correctly and the barrel lock buckle and waste bin lid are properly closed.

2. Proper Placement

1. Place the litter box on a firm and flat ground. Avoid placing it on carpets or mats, as this may interfere with the weight sensors.
2. Ensure there are no walls or objects around the litter box, and nothing is placed on top of it.
3. Position the litter box close to your WiFi signal source and away from other interfering household appliances.

3. Power On and Self-Check

1. Connect the power adapter to the litter box and a power outlet.
2. The litter box will make a beep sound, the white 'Clean' light will flash, and the device will begin a self-check (duration: 30-180 seconds).
3. After self-check, the litter box defaults to 'Auto cleaning mode', with the white 'Clean' light on and blue 'WiFi' light flashing. Wait for the self-check to complete before proceeding.
4. If self-check fails or the 'WiFi' light is not on, check if the barrel is installed correctly. Power on again and repeat the self-check. If issues persist, contact customer service.

4. App Installation and Networking

The DOEL Ti+ Smart Cat Litter Box features app control for enhanced functionality. The app supports 2.4GHz WiFi band ONLY.

1. Scan the QR code below or search for "Tuya Smart" in your app store to download and install the application.

2. Open the app, register, and log in. The homepage will automatically search for the Smart Cat Litter Box (Ti+). Select 'Add' and follow the instructions for online operation.
3. Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. 5GHz WiFi bands, hotel/airport networks requiring special authentication, are not supported. Enable Bluetooth and Location services on your phone (Android phones also require GPS).
4. If the litter box is not automatically found, manually add it. Press the 'WiFi' button for 5 seconds until a long beep sounds. The blue 'WiFi' light will change from slow to fast flashing. Release the button and follow the app's instructions to connect.
5. After successful networking, the blue 'WiFi' light will remain on.
6. If networking fails, check WiFi band, password, and signal strength. Try reconnecting. If issues persist, contact customer service.

5. Adding Cat Litter

This litter box is compatible with small diameter tofu cat litter, mixed cat litter, bentonite cat litter, and mineral cat litter. Ensure the litter can clump effectively.

1. Connect to the app and follow prompts to set the correct litter type for precise cleaning.
2. Add cat litter through the barrel entrance. Do not exceed the 'Max' line to prevent waste.
3. After adding litter, press the 'Clean' button for 2 seconds or use the 'Level' button in the app to level the litter.
4. Regularly add sufficient cat litter to maintain optimal performance.

6. Installing and Replacing Waste Bags

1. To replace a used garbage bag, press and hold the 'WiFi' button for 2 seconds. This adjusts the waste bin to the bag changing angle and opens the waste bin lid. The adjustment lasts 60 seconds. If installation is not completed within this time, the litter box will reset.
2. Align the new garbage bag drawstring with the tie pile and clip the lower edge of the bag mouth under the positioning clip.
3. Wrap the opening of the new garbage bag around the outside frame of the flip cover of the waste bin, and pull out the drawstring.
4. Press the drawstring into the tie pile, tighten it, and wrap it around. Ensure the bag opening is securely fastened.
5. After installation, confirm the waste bin door is not obstructed by the garbage bag and can open and close normally. Organize the back of the garbage bag and close the waste bin lid.

The "Tuya Smart" app provides comprehensive control and monitoring features:

• Auto Cleaning: Set the litter box to automatically clean after your cat uses it.
• Remote OTA Upgrade: Keep your device's firmware up-to-date with remote over-the-air updates.
• Timing Cleaning: Schedule cleaning cycles at specific times.
• Sand Type Selection: Choose the corresponding cleaning mode based on the type of cat litter used.
• Multi Cat Recognition: The system can differentiate between multiple cats.
• Health Monitoring: Track your cat's weight, frequency of use, and excretion times to monitor their health status.
• Infrared Sensor Control: Enable or disable the front-facing infrared sensor that pauses rotation when a cat approaches.

Maintenance

1. One Key for Replacing Litter

1. Before emptying the litter, ensure a new garbage bag is in place to accommodate the waste.
2. Press the 'Clean' button for 5 seconds. A long beep will sound, the red 'Clean' light will flash, and the litter box will begin emptying. Pressing the 'Clean' button again will stop the process.
3. Once emptying is complete, open the waste bin lid and remove the garbage bag.

2. Cleaning the Litter Box

The barrel, filter mesh, and pedal are detachable for convenient cleaning.

1. After emptying the waste bin, disconnect the power.
2. Remove the litter guard, open the barrel lock buckle on the base, take out the barrel, remove the mesh and cat litter pad.
3. The entire barrel can be washed with water. After cleaning, drain the water, air dry or wipe all components, then reinstall the mesh and cat litter pad.
4. The base contains electrical components and is strictly prohibited from washing with water. It can be wiped with a damp cloth.
5. Place the barrel back on the base, lock the barrel lock buckle, install the litter guard, connect the power, wait for the self-check, then remember to level cat litter, and start using.
6. It is recommended to replace the garbage bag every 3 days in hot weather (for one cat) and wash the barrel with water once every 1-3 months, depending on usage habits.

Troubleshooting

• Device not connecting to App: Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. 5GHz networks are not supported. Check WiFi signal strength and password. If issues persist, try resetting the device and re-pairing.
• Litter box not cleaning or stopping unexpectedly: Check if the barrel is installed correctly and securely locked. Ensure no objects are obstructing the rotation. Verify that the weight sensors are not interfered with (e.g., by carpets or uneven surfaces).
• Odors leaking: Ensure the waste bin door is closing properly and the garbage bag is installed correctly, effectively blocking the leakage of odors.
• Cat stuck or safety concerns: The device has multiple safety features including gravity sensors and an infrared sensor. Ensure the infrared sensor function is enabled in the app if you wish for it to pause rotation when a cat approaches. The integrated barrel and waste bin structure is designed to prevent clamping.
• Incompatible litter: Use only clumping cat litter with a diameter less than 3mm and length less than 15mm. Non-clumping, large diameter, or long strip litters can cause blockages or waste.
• Error Alarm: If the red 'Clean' light is on and a long sound repeats, it indicates a fault. Refer to the button functions table for specific sound patterns and contact customer service if the issue cannot be resolved.

• Cat Size: The litter box is suitable for cats weighing 3.3-22 lbs. While the internal space is generous, ensure your cat fits comfortably, especially larger breeds like Maine Coons.
• Safety Sensor Activation: Remember to enable the infrared sensor function in the mobile phone APP for the first time to ensure it automatically stops rotation when your cat approaches.
