7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your Phezer PW1 printer. While specific detailed instructions are not provided, general best practices for inkjet printers should be followed:

  • Printhead Cleaning: Regularly clean the printhead nozzle to prevent clogging, especially when changing ink cartridges or if print quality degrades. Use a lint-free cloth and appropriate cleaning solution if recommended by the manufacturer.
  • Ink Cartridge Handling: Store spare ink cartridges in a cool, dry place. Replace cartridges promptly when empty to avoid air entering the printhead.
  • Exterior Cleaning: Keep the printer's exterior, especially the touchscreen, clean and free of dust and debris. Use a soft, dry cloth.
  • Environmental Conditions: Operate the printer within the recommended temperature (10-45°C, best 20-30°C) and humidity (40%-60%Rh) ranges to prevent damage and ensure consistent print quality.
  • Software Updates: Check for any available software or firmware updates from the manufacturer to ensure your system is running efficiently.

8. Troubleshooting

This section provides general troubleshooting tips for common issues. For more complex problems, please contact customer support.

  • Poor Print Quality:
    • Check ink levels and replace the cartridge if low.
    • Clean the printhead nozzle.
    • Ensure the print distance (2-5mm) is correct.
    • Verify print resolution settings.
  • Printer Not Printing:
    • Check if the print job is loaded and selected.
    • Ensure the optical sensor is correctly detecting products.
    • Verify all cables (power, sensor) are securely connected.
    • Check for any error messages on the screen.
  • System Unresponsive:
    • Restart the printer.
    • Ensure the power supply is stable.
  • Content Not Displaying Correctly:
    • Re-check the content in the editor.
    • Ensure images/logos imported via USB are in a compatible format.

9. User Tips

  • Language Settings: The printer supports multiple languages. Ensure you select the correct language during initial setup for ease of use. No additional software installation is typically required for language support, as it's built into the Linux OS.
  • Multi-Head Printing: While the base model is a single printhead machine, the system supports expansion nozzles (up to 6 per machine) for customized configurations. If you require printing on multiple sides of an object, consider a multi-head setup. Contact your seller for customized solutions.
  • Ink Type Selection: Choose the appropriate ink type (water-based, solvent, oily) based on your printing material for optimal adhesion and durability.
  • USB Data Transfer: Utilize the USB interface to easily import images, logos, or complex print templates, enhancing your coding capabilities.

10. Warranty and Support
