6. Charging the Battery

The Andoer IR49S has a built-in 2000mAh lithium battery. When the battery is low, the indicator light will signal. To charge:

  1. Connect the supplied USB Type-C cable to the charging port on the IR light.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a 5V USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter, power bank).
  3. The charging indicator will illuminate to show the charging status. It will typically change color or turn off when fully charged.

The device can be used while it is charging, providing continuous operation if connected to a power source.

7. Care and Maintenance

  • Keep the device dry. Do not expose it to moisture or rain.
  • Clean the surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Avoid dropping or subjecting the device to strong impacts.
  • Store the device in a cool, dry place when not in use.
  • For optimal battery life, charge the device at least once every three months if stored for extended periods.

8. Troubleshooting

8.1 Light Does Not Turn On

  • Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the device to a power source using the USB Type-C cable.
  • Press and hold the power button for a few seconds to ensure it's properly activated.

8.2 Poor Night Vision Performance

  • Verify that your camera or camcorder has a night vision function enabled. The IR light only provides infrared illumination, which is not visible to the naked eye and requires a compatible device to capture.
  • Adjust the brightness level of the IR light.
  • Ensure the light is positioned correctly to illuminate the subject.
  • Check the distance to the subject; the effective light distance is up to 20m.

8.3 Charging Issues

  • Ensure the USB Type-C cable is securely connected to both the light and the power source.
  • Try a different USB cable or power adapter to rule out faulty accessories.
  • Confirm the power source is active and providing sufficient power (e.g., a working USB port).

9. User Tips

  • Use While Charging: The IR49S can be operated even when connected to a power source via its USB Type-C cable, allowing for extended use during long recording sessions.
  • Multiple Lights for Enhanced Coverage: For larger areas or brighter infrared illumination, consider using multiple IR49S units connected via their cold shoe mounts.
  • Check Camera Compatibility: Always confirm that your camera or camcorder has a dedicated night vision mode or is sensitive to infrared light for optimal results.

10. Warranty and Support

For warranty information and technical support, please refer to the seller's policy or contact the retailer where the product was purchased. Keep your proof of purchase for any warranty claims.
