3. Product Overview
The SOLOVOX Z8 Pro Android 12 TV box features a compact design with multiple expansion ports to connect various external devices. The device supports a range of connectivity options for a versatile media experience.
3.1. Interfaces
The Z8 Pro TV box is equipped with seven expansion ports:
- LAN Port: For wired Ethernet connection.
- AV Port: For connecting to older TVs using an AV cable.

4. Setup Guide
Follow these steps to set up your SOLOVOX Z8 Pro TV Box:
- Choose Power Plug: Select the appropriate power plug for your region. Four different types (US, EU, UK, AU) are available.
- Connect to TV:
- For modern TVs, connect one end of the provided HDMI cable to the HD port on the Z8 Pro and the other end to an HDMI input on your TV.
- For older TVs, use an AV cable (not included) to connect the AV port on the Z8 Pro to the corresponding AV input on your TV.
- Connect to Network (Optional): For a wired internet connection, connect an Ethernet cable from your router to the LAN port on the Z8 Pro. Alternatively, you can connect via Wi-Fi after initial setup.
- Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the DC IN port on the Z8 Pro, then plug the adapter into a wall outlet.
- Insert Remote Batteries: Open the battery compartment of the remote control and insert two AAA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity.
- Power On: Turn on your TV and select the correct HDMI or AV input source using your TV's remote control. The Z8 Pro will power on automatically or can be powered on using its remote.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Basic Navigation
Use the provided remote control to navigate the Android interface:
- Directional Buttons: Move cursor/selection up, down, left, or right.
- OK Button: Confirm selection or open an application.
- Back Button: Return to the previous screen.
- Home Button: Go directly to the home screen.
- Volume Buttons: Adjust the audio volume.
- Power Button: Turn the device on or off.
5.2. Voice Assistant
The Z8 Pro Android 12 box supports Voice Assistant functionality. With the Voice Assistant, you can quickly access entertainment, get answers to questions, and control compatible smart devices in your home. To activate, simply press the Mic button on your Remote Control and speak your command.

5.3. Screen Mirroring (DLNA & AirPlay & Miracast)
The Z8 Pro TV Box supports DLNA, AirPlay, and Miracast functions, allowing you to mirror or cast content from your Android and iOS devices to your TV screen. This enables you to share videos, music, photos, and even play games on a larger display.
- DLNA Push Mode: Enjoy watching videos on your TV while simultaneously using your phone for other tasks.
- AirPlay Mirror Mode: Display your mobile phone screen on the TV in real-time, perfect for presentations or sharing content directly.

5.4. System Settings
Access the 'Settings' menu from the home screen to configure various options, including Wi-Fi connection, display resolution, audio output, language, and app management.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device. Avoid liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
- Ventilation: Ensure the TV box is placed in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating. Do not block ventilation openings.
- Environment: Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
- Software Updates: Please note that system upgrades and OTA updates are generally not supported for this device.

- No Power: Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to the device and a working power outlet.
- No Display on TV: Verify that the HDMI or AV cable is correctly connected to both the TV box and the TV. Check that your TV is set to the correct input source (e.g., HDMI1, AV).
- Remote Control Not Responding: Check the batteries in the remote control and replace them if necessary. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the TV box.
- Network Connection Issues: For Wi-Fi, check your router and ensure the Wi-Fi password is entered correctly in the device settings. For Ethernet, ensure the cable is securely connected.
