6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Basic Operation
- Insert Kneading Paddle: Place the kneading paddle onto the shaft inside the bread pan.
- Add Ingredients: Add ingredients to the nonstick bread pan in the recommended order: first liquids (milk, oil), then dry ingredients (salt, sugar, egg, flour), and finally yeast. Ensure yeast is separated from liquids and salt/sugar to prevent premature activation.
- Place Bread Pan: Insert the bread pan into the breadmaker and twist gently to secure it. Close the lid.
- Select Program: Use the CONTROL PANEL knob to select your desired program from the 15 available options. The LCD display will show the program number and default time.
- Adjust Settings (if applicable): Depending on the program, you may be able to adjust loaf size (1.5LB or 2LB) and crust color (Light, Medium, Dark) using the CONTROL PANEL knob.
- Start Baking: Press the START/PAUSE/STOP button to begin the baking cycle. The breadmaker will automatically mix, knead, rise, and bake.
- Finish: Once the cycle is complete, the breadmaker will beep and may enter a 1-hour automatic keep warm cycle. Press and hold the START/PAUSE/STOP button to stop the cycle.
- Remove Bread: Using oven mitts, carefully remove the bread pan from the breadmaker. Invert the pan to release the bread onto a wire rack to cool. Use the paddle removal tool if the kneading paddle remains in the bread.

The default setting for the nut dispenser is ON. You can toggle it ON/OFF using the DISPENSER ON/OFF button on the control panel before starting a program.

6.3 Delay Timer Function
The 15-hour delay timer allows you to prepare ingredients in advance and have fresh bread ready at a later time. After adding ingredients and selecting your program, use the CONTROL PANEL knob to set the desired delay time. Then press START/PAUSE/STOP. The breadmaker will start automatically after the set delay.
6.4 Keep Warm Function
After the baking cycle is complete, the breadmaker will automatically switch to a 1-hour keep warm function to maintain the bread's temperature. This ensures your bread stays warm until you are ready to serve.
7. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning will prolong the life of your breadmaker and ensure optimal performance.
- Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the breadmaker from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Bread Pan and Kneading Paddle: The nonstick bread pan is removable for easy cleanup. Wash the bread pan and kneading paddle with warm, soapy water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that could damage the nonstick coating. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the breadmaker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Lid and Viewing Window: Wipe the inside and outside of the lid and the viewing window with a damp cloth.
- Nut Dispenser: Clean any residue from the nut dispenser after each use to prevent buildup.
- Storage: Store the breadmaker in a clean, dry place when not in use.
8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your breadmaker, please check the following common problems:
- Bread does not rise: Ensure yeast is fresh and not expired. Check that yeast was added correctly and not mixed directly with liquids or salt/sugar too early. Verify the correct program was selected.
- Bread is too dense/heavy: Too much flour or not enough liquid. Ensure accurate measurements.
- Bread is too sticky/wet: Not enough flour or too much liquid. Ensure accurate measurements.
- Kneading paddle stuck in bread: This is common. Use the provided paddle removal tool to carefully extract the paddle once the bread has cooled slightly.
- Breadmaker does not start: Ensure the appliance is properly plugged in and the lid is closed securely. Check that a program has been selected and the START/PAUSE/STOP button has been pressed.
- Uneven baking: Ensure the bread pan is correctly seated. The double tube heating system is designed for uniform baking, but extreme variations in room temperature can sometimes affect results.
For persistent issues, please contact customer support.
9. User Tips
- Ingredient Order is Key: Always follow the recommended order for adding ingredients (liquids first, then dry, then yeast on top) to ensure proper activation of the yeast and optimal bread texture.
- Measure Accurately: Use precise measurements for all ingredients, especially flour and yeast, as small variations can significantly impact the final result.
- Room Temperature Ingredients: For best results, ensure liquids and eggs are at room temperature unless specified otherwise in a recipe.
- Experiment with Custom Program: The 'Custom' program allows for greater control over kneading, rising, and baking times. This is ideal for advanced users or for adapting specific recipes.
- Cooling is Crucial: Always allow freshly baked bread to cool on a wire rack for at least 30 minutes before slicing. This allows the internal structure to set and prevents a gummy texture.
