- Follow the in-app instructions to add your new lock. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone.

4.3. Door Lock Installation
Refer to the detailed installation instructions provided with your physical product for precise steps. Generally, installation involves:

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Unlocking Methods
The TTLOCK Z13 offers several ways to unlock:
- Fingerprint Unlock: Place your registered finger on the semiconductor fingerprint sensor.
- Password Unlock: Enter your registered password on the keypad.
- IC Card Unlock: Tap your registered IC card on the designated area.
- Mechanical Key Unlock: Insert and turn the mechanical key in the keyhole for emergency access.
- App Remote Control: Use the TT Lock app to unlock the door remotely (requires a WiFi gateway for remote access beyond Bluetooth range).
5.2. Adding/Managing Users
All user management (adding fingerprints, passwords, and IC cards) is done through the TT Lock app. Follow the in-app prompts for each specific method.
- Add Fingerprint: Navigate to the 'Add Fingerprint' section in the app and follow the on-screen instructions to register a new fingerprint.
- Generate Passcode: Create permanent, time-limited, one-time, or custom passcodes via the app.
- Add Card: Register new IC cards through the app.
5.3. Anti-peeping Virtual Password
To prevent others from guessing your password, you can enter any random digits before or after your correct password. The lock will still unlock as long as the correct password sequence is embedded within the entered digits. Up to 24 virtual passwords can be used, including 6 to 11 correct passwords.
5.4. Temporary Password Unlocking
Generate time-limited temporary passwords through the TT Lock app to grant access to friends, family, or visitors for a specific duration.
5.5. Remote Unlocking
If a WiFi gateway is connected, you can remotely unlock the door via the TT Lock app. To request remote opening from the outside, a user can press the '#' key on the lock's keypad. The administrator will receive a notification on the app and can choose to allow or deny access.
5.6. Record In Real Time
The TT Lock app allows you to check all unlock records in real-time, providing a log of who accessed the door and when.
5.7. Anti-lock Function
When the smart lock is in anti-lock mode, only the administrator can unlock it. Other users, even with valid credentials, cannot access the smart lock.
5.8. Smart Home Integration
The TTLOCK Z13 can be integrated into your smart home ecosystem for voice control via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. This functionality requires a separate WiFi gateway (sold separately) to bridge the lock's Bluetooth connection to your home WiFi network.
6. Maintenance
6.1. Battery Replacement
When the battery level is low, the lock will provide an alert. Replace all batteries with new ones of the same type to ensure optimal performance. Always use the mechanical key if the battery runs out completely before replacement.
6.2. Cleaning
Wipe the lock's surface with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish or electronic components.
6.3. Emergency Unlocking
In case of circuit damage, no power, forgotten password, or lost fingerprint, the mechanical key can be used to directly drive the latch and open the door. The lock also features a USB charging port for emergency power supply if batteries are completely drained.
6.4. Anti Cat Eye Design Button
The lock includes an anti-cat eye design button on the interior handle. This feature prevents unauthorized opening from the outside (e.g., using a tool through a peephole) and also prevents small children or pets from accidentally opening the door from the inside.
7. Troubleshooting
- Lock not responding: Check battery levels and replace if necessary. Use the mechanical key for immediate access.
- Fingerprint not recognized: Ensure your finger is clean and dry. Re-register your fingerprint if issues persist.
- Password not working: Double-check the entered password. Try using the anti-peeping virtual password feature.
- App connectivity issues: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and you are within range. If using a WiFi gateway, verify its connection to your network.
- Door not locking/unlocking properly: Check for any obstructions in the door frame or latch. Ensure the lock is installed correctly and all screws are tightened.
8. User Tips
- App Language: The TT Lock app typically supports multiple languages. Check the app settings for language options if you prefer a language other than English.
- Gateway for Remote Access: Remember that a separate WiFi gateway is required for remote unlocking and smart assistant integration (Alexa, Google Assistant) beyond Bluetooth range.
- Battery Life: To maximize battery life, avoid frequent remote unlocking when not necessary and ensure the door closes smoothly without resistance.
