5. Maintenance

General Cleaning:

  • Regularly clean your e-bike with a damp cloth. Avoid using high-pressure washers directly on electrical components.
  • Keep the chain clean and lubricated to ensure smooth shifting and prolong its lifespan.

Battery Care:

  • Charging: Always use the original charger provided. Do not overcharge the battery. Disconnect the charger once the battery is full.
  • Storage: If storing the e-bike for an extended period, charge the battery to about 50-70% and store it in a cool, dry place. Recharge it every 1-2 months to prevent deep discharge.
  • Avoid exposing the battery to extreme temperatures (hot or cold).

Brake System:

The e-bike is equipped with HD-E500 dual pump hydraulic disc brakes. Regularly check the brake pads for wear and ensure the hydraulic fluid levels are adequate. If you notice reduced braking performance, consult a qualified bicycle mechanic.

Tire Maintenance:

Periodically check the KENDA 20*4.0 inch fat tires for wear, punctures, and proper inflation. Maintaining correct tire pressure is crucial for ride comfort, efficiency, and safety.

Suspension System:

The double shoulder aluminum alloy motorcycle suspension fork with lock and central shock absorber provide full suspension. Keep the suspension components clean and free of debris. Refer to a bicycle mechanic for any adjustments or repairs to the suspension system.
