1. Introduction

This device is a new generation metal waterproof RFID card standalone access control system. It features an ABS housing designed to be anti-explosion and anti-vandal. Conforming to IP67 waterproof standards, it is suitable for outdoor use.

The system supports up to 10,000 card/code users and offers multiple door opening methods including card, code, multi-user combinations, and temporary visitor codes. It can also function as a card reader. The device supports uploading and downloading user data (card and PIN codes) and includes door contact detection and anti-tamper functions. It also supports OTA (Over-The-Air) online upgrades, allowing users to update the software for improved functionality.

5. Installation

5.1 Wiring Diagram

Refer to the following diagrams for proper wiring of the access control system. Ensure all connections are secure and correctly matched to avoid damage or malfunction.

6. Operation

6.1 Unlocking Methods

The access controller supports various unlocking methods:

  • Password Unlocking: Enter your programmed password on the keypad.
  • RFID Card Unlocking: Present a registered RFID card to the reader.
  • Temporary Password Unlocking: Generate and share temporary passwords via the Tuya APP for guests or one-time access.
  • Tuya APP Unlocking: Remotely unlock the door using the Tuya APP on your smartphone.

6.2 Tuya APP Intelligent Management

The Tuya APP provides comprehensive remote management and operation capabilities. You can add/remove users, set access permissions, query records, and check the door status from anywhere with an internet connection.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Waterproof Design

The access controller features an IP67 waterproof rating and a glue-filled, fully sealed design, making it highly resistant to water and suitable for outdoor environments. This minimizes the need for frequent maintenance due to weather exposure.

7.2 Cleaning

To clean the device, use a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the surface or internal components.

7.3 Backlit Buttons

The keypad features backlit buttons for enhanced visibility and ease of use during nighttime or in dimly lit areas.

8. Troubleshooting

  • Device not responding: Check power supply connections. Ensure the operating voltage is within DC10-24V.
  • RFID card not working: Ensure the card is of the correct type (125KHz EM or 13.56MHz Mi-fare) and has been properly registered. Check the card's read range (<60mm).
  • App connectivity issues: Verify your WiFi connection and ensure the Tuya APP is updated to the latest version. Check if the device is properly paired with the app.
  • Door not unlocking: Confirm that the correct password or card is being used. Check the wiring to the lock mechanism.
  • Keypad buttons unresponsive: If individual buttons are not working, ensure no debris is lodged in the keypad. If the entire keypad is unresponsive, check power and connections.

We provide a one-year warranty from the date of original purchase. This warranty does not cover defects caused by user misuse, fire, or other external factors. If the product is damaged due to buyer actions, any shipping fees for repair or replacement will be borne by the buyer.
