3.1 Main Test Functions

The device supports the following tests:

  • Battery Test: Measures battery life, voltage, Cold Cranking Amps (CCA), and internal resistance.
  • Cranking Test (Start Test): Evaluates the battery's discharge performance during engine startup.
  • Charging Test: Assesses the engine's charging system.
  • Load Test: Checks overall engine performance under load.
  • Ripple Test: Provides check the Alternator's charging and Starter's cranking conditions, including load voltage, unloaded voltage, ripple status and charging system status.

Figure 8: Ripple Test Display

Note: If the test result is normal, the battery is charged normally. If the voltage reading is greater than 15.0V, please check the voltage regulator; if the voltage reading is less than 13.3V, please check the connection points, wires, and engine.

3.4 Voltage Waveform Live Display

Monitor the battery status in real-time, understand the current floating size of the battery voltage, and utilize automatic storage and playback functions for waveform data.
