Magnetic Switch Adjustment (Trigger Point & Rapid Trigger)

The Hz-61 utilizes linear adjustable magnetic switches with Hall effect trigger technology, allowing for precise customization.

  • Adjustable Drive Distance: The magnetic switches can be adjusted to a drive range of 0.1mm to 4.0mm. This allows you to set the actuation point to suit your preference for different tasks or games. There are 40 levels of adjustment available.
  • Rapid Trigger (RT) Function: This feature allows for dynamic actuation and de-actuation based on key movement, enabling faster, more responsive inputs, especially beneficial for competitive gaming.

These adjustments are typically made via the E-YOOSO software for fine-tuning individual switches.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Keyboard

  • Disconnect the keyboard from your computer before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution to wipe the keycaps and chassis.
  • For dust and debris between keys, use compressed air.
  • Avoid spraying liquids directly onto the keyboard.

Troubleshooting

  • Keyboard Not Responding:
    • Ensure the USB Type-C cable is securely connected to both the keyboard and the computer.
    • Try connecting the keyboard to a different USB port on your computer.
    • Test the keyboard on another computer to rule out a system-specific issue.
  • RGB Backlight Not Working/Incorrect:
    • Use the FN + ALT, FN + M, and FN + < combinations to check if the backlight can be adjusted.
    • Ensure the E-YOOSO software is installed and updated. Check software settings for any disabled lighting effects.
  • Keys Not Registering or Double-Typing:
    • This could indicate an issue with a specific magnetic switch. Since the switches are hot-swappable, try replacing the problematic switch with a spare one.
    • If using custom trigger points, ensure the settings in the E-YOOSO software are appropriate and recalibrate if necessary.
  • Software Not Detecting Keyboard:
    • Ensure the keyboard is properly connected via USB.
    • Restart your computer and the software.
    • Reinstall the E-YOOSO driver software.

User Tips

  • Experiment with Trigger Points: Take advantage of the adjustable magnetic switches. Lower actuation points (e.g., 0.1mm) are great for fast-paced games where quick reactions are crucial, while higher points (e.g., 2.0mm) can help reduce accidental key presses for typing or less intense gaming.
  • Utilize Rapid Trigger: For FPS games, practice with the Rapid Trigger function. It allows for extremely fast repeated inputs and quick stops, which can significantly improve movement and aiming precision once mastered.
  • Customize with Software: Don't shy away from the E-YOOSO software. It unlocks the full potential of your keyboard, allowing you to create personalized lighting profiles, complex macros, and fine-tune switch behavior for a truly unique experience.
  • Ergonomic Positioning: The keyboard features a single-segment foot support. Adjust it to find the most comfortable typing and gaming angle for prolonged use to prevent fatigue.
