4. Product Overview

The IPS Quantum Clock features a main screen for displaying time, date, and weather, along with a Type-C port for power and a power switch. It also includes a WiFi antenna for network connectivity.

Button Functions:

• Press once: Switch between different dial styles.
• Press twice: Display device information.
• Press and hold: Reset the device.

Note:

When the data cable is inserted into the Type-C port at the back of the device, the device will automatically power on (even if the device is turned off, it will power on once the data cable is inserted).

5.1. Download the APP

The IPS Quantum Clock is controlled via a mobile application named "IPSTUBE".

1. Search "IPSTUBE" in the Apple App Store to download and install.
2. Search "IPSTUBE" in the Google Play Store to download and install.
3. Alternatively, use your mobile phone to scan the QR code provided in the manual (or on the product packaging) to download and install.
4. During use, authorization to enable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth permissions is required for the app to function correctly.

5.2. Connect Device

1. Open the IPSTUBE app.
2. Click the '+' icon within the app to add a new device.
3. The app will search for available devices. Select your Quantum Clock from the list (e.g., "Quantum clock IPSQC_XXXXXX").
4. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the basic setup, including setting the tube name, time format (12H/24H), and temperature format (°C/°F).

5.3. Connect to WiFi

To enable full functionality, including time calibration and weather updates, connect your device to a Wi-Fi network.

1. In the app, after basic setup, select "Configure network".
2. Enter your Wi-Fi network information (SSID and password).
3. Important: The current device only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks. It does not support 5G or Wi-Fi 6 networks. Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz network during setup.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Configuration Complete & App Control

Once configured, you can customize the device functionality through the IPSTUBE app. The app displays the device's Bluetooth and Wi-Fi pairing status (blue for successful pairing, gray for no pairing).

• Switch Dials: The app allows you to switch between different clock dial styles. There are five built-in watch face modes that can be switched at any time.
• Digital Photo Album: Upload images to display on the clock, turning it into a digital photo album.
• Custom Screen: Personalize the display with custom messages or images.
• RGB Ambient Light: Control the rich color gamut RGB ambient light, offering 16 million colors with DIY settings. You can select colors freely, switch single colors with one click, and adjust brightness.
• Weather Mode: Quickly access daily meteorological information.

7. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and proper functioning of your IPS Quantum Clock, follow these maintenance guidelines:

• Keep the device clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Protect the device from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, and high humidity.
• Handle the glass tubes with care to prevent breakage. The glass tubes are made of quartz glass and are designed to be dustproof.
• Ensure the Type-C port is free from dust and debris to maintain a stable power connection.

8. Troubleshooting

• App Language: If the app is not in English, adjust your phone's system language, then reopen the app. It should display the desired language.
• Network Connection: Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network when linking the device. The product does not support 5G Wi-Fi.
• App Verification Code Issue: If you don't receive a six-digit verification code, try updating the app to version 1.09 or later. You can also use the experience mode without logging in. For persistent issues, contact ipstube.com.
• No Screen Display/Black Screen after Power On: This might be due to a slow response. Unplug and re-plug the Type-C cable to restore the display.
• Weather and Time Not Shown: First, set the location for the weather in the app. Then, synchronize the weather time.
• Product Flashing During Factory Reset: If the product flashes when restoring factory settings, press the "M" button (Function button) to correct it.
