IMPORTANT: The provided car charger must be used to connect to power in the car. The device will not function using a standard USB cable for power.
- Connect the car charger to the dash cam's power input port.
- Plug the other end of the car charger into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket.
- Ensure the connection is secure. The device should power on automatically when the vehicle starts.
4.2 Mounting the Dash Cam
- Clean the desired mounting area on your windshield.
- Attach the soft bottom adhesive bracket to the dash cam body.
- Securely mount the dash cam to the cleaned area on your windshield, ensuring it does not obstruct your view.
4.3 Camera Installation (Optional)
If your package includes a rear camera:
- Connect the rear camera cable to the designated port on the main dash cam unit.
- Route the cable neatly along the vehicle's interior to the rear of the car.
- Mount the rear camera in a suitable location, typically above the license plate or on the rear window, ensuring a clear view.
